Wow! Great release Kenny!

We have a great community of Roms now! How's anyone supposed to be able to choose between them? Lol

Lol, I've had that problem for some time now. Especially with you guys from the epic starting to bring it! Makes it very hard not to be a flashaholic! Seems every time I get settled in to something, someone makes a sweet update to something, or one of you epic guys drops something completely new on us. It's a good time to own an s3 for sure!

Thanks to all of the devs here for everything you do! For anyone that didn't own an epic, you should be in for a good ride with this one. Think I may roll with this for the week.

If you smellllll....what Kenny....is.....cookin'!:what::beer::thumbup::cool:

OK, how long are you waiting for the rom to boot? I ask because rompnit and I were just gtalking and his finally booted up, (using the naddict modded one also) it took him a little while for the rom to go through the install routine...

hotspot does not work, but wifi tether does...??? did you install it?
Hmm. Wifi is working great after installing the above mentioned apk, but Well the hot spot starts but says something like I need to be subscribed.I thought it was hacked

Oh maybe I didn't let it boot long enough? I figured something was wrong cuz it looks like the phone shuts off cuz it goes black. Did his go completely black for a while?
yeah mine went black upon initial boot for about 30 seconds or so. But everything is up and running very well now. Is that what your talking about? sorrry, just had to chime in lol

Ya mine was black at least a minute before I finally pulled the battery and restored my backup. And I'm flashing naddics version that he posted not the original in the op.

Using the file explorer of your choice. Head to System-usr-key layout

Mount R/O

Longpress sec_keys.kl and select "edit in Text Editor"

On line 3 it says Key 172 Home. Add WAKE in All CAPS to the end of Home. Save and Exit. Reboot

Profit! :D:)

I see. Yeah I used the one in the OP. Same thing happened to me with Freegs3 2.0 version on the first boot. Each boot after that was perfectly normal.

Or delete sec_keys,kl and rename sec_keys.kl.bak by deleting the .bak. (I planned ahead,,,lol)

Here is GS3.01 with qosmgr renamed to qosmgr.bak and gsiff_daemon renamed as well since I heard that can cause some drain occasionally as well, for those that haven't flashed yet.
The People's ROM GS3.02

If anyone has sudden battery drain make sure MEDIA is not running wild in battery stats. Just Force stop it. It only shows up a few minutes after boot and does not return after the Force Stop.

Edit: Replaced OP version too.

Thanks for putting this together bro! I will be flashing this very soon.

Quick question though, do I flash the Lidroid version of the WasabiWa83 themes since this has the 15 Toggle mod baked in?
Yes. You are correct in using the lidroid version for ROMs with 15 toggle mod already installed.

I figured that - I just wanted to make sure since I haven't tried that theme mod yet!

Thank you for clarifying for me!

Oh sneaky devil! No wonder the epic thread has been so quiet today. As soon as I get to wifi I will be downloading. Super excited, way more than me coming home to a new house everyday and unpacking after a holiday weekend move.

THANK YOU for bringing the people to us here in S3 land.

Ohh.... I was wondering why there was 2 lol. Didn't think of that one. I just thought hos the mod was implemented before. That's why I post it. No worries. This way may be easier for some. I always like to have a stockish ROM on hand. Running very nicely man. Great job bro.
