to get back the LTE icon, just change the build.prop line "ro.product.name=" to "ro.product.name=jflteatt"

My stock bell rom 4.4.2 shows jfltevl, should I change it to jflteatt once I flash to Maple Leaf? thanks cool77

there is another way to change the icon .. but use defautl bell info from a stock bell build.prop as ur guide .

k thanks. I did a copy of the build.prop file. Is there a place where it explains the build.prop file line. I would like to know what I am doing... I don't see the code/command behind jflteatt and jfltevl.

Yeah just follow the directions in the link I've posted and it works like no problem.

I have just flashed it and I have the LTE icon w/o modding build.prop. But still curious about build.prop...

Another question, phone and data are working but I haven't install the carrier "APN ML-I337M-Bell_CSC_FIX-VER-2.0.zip". Should I do it?

Copied the files and set permissions, now call recording works perfectly again.
Really big of you to take the time to give your input. I'm grateful

Thanks it solves the none working recording. For newbie like me, we don't have to install the apk listed in the original thread, just move files and change permissions.

Hey mate, loving the ROMs (been on them since early June now). Only thing I noticed is that since upgrading from the 4.4.2 version, whenever my phone throws me the Sim Not Detected error, I get a popup that I cannot get rid of / cancel out of / do anything with, and all you can do is hit the Reboot Now button. On the older version, it popped up a notification, but it didn't nix you out of whatever you were doing.

Am I the only one who's had this issue ? Or is it more prevalent ? And also, is there a way to make it so that you just get the old notification instead of a giant popup that locks everything out so you can only reboot (really annoying if you're in the middle of typing something).

I have been running this rom for I think almost a year now... never had any sort of popup.... you might want to go to your provider and just get a new sim card because I am pretty sure it isn't the rom.....

I installed Mapleleaf onto my Rogers S4.... All I can say is AMAZING. Quick and responsive. Everything
worked out of the box. I've tried almost every rom for the S4.....I'm settling on this one. WHY? This is the only
rom that is able to connect to LTE. Every other one only goes 3G which is great for battery life, however, as you know,
speed is an issue.

Why would this be? I am on NC1, with the Rogers APN from page 1...... Suggestions?
Anyway, this is the rom for me.......... EXCELLENT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it possible to load the S5 buidprop mod for the rounded icons from another rom? Can't remember the thread.

have you taken the 4.4.2 update for ur carrier ? if not and ur carrier offers just 4.3 that could be ur issue ..

I have been having GPS issues also, I do connect just losing connection alot. I am a Waze user and didnt experience a problem until this rom and I didnt pay attention after updating to notice if it was the rom. After tweaking and gps program fixes/testers, it is my conclusion that this rom is the culprit.

well, if u havent taken the 4.4.2 touchwiz update .. via odin or ota.. i would give that a shot.. otherwise nandroid back to the rom u were using

nothing in this rom would effect gps.. but if ur convinced then there nothing i can do to help

I take your advice as I dont know what would cause my gps to take crap? How do I take the touchwiz update?

thanks sir!!.. well you could update via odin .. once done do the following

1. flash recovery
2. root
3. full wipe
4. flash my rom

4.4.2 effects the bootloader as well... just because u use a 4.4.2 baseband doesnt mean, all necessary parts of the fw are updated .. to find 4.4.2 for ur carrier google it.. there are lots of guides to help u flash a firmware in odin .. hope that helps and let me know the outcome

Your friend can just enter the APN manually for the carrier they are on.
