So you installed a different gapps version than the one recommended by the dev and you have problems with a Google app.I installed the micro gapps instead of the pico, but that should be ok I guess?
Jeez - I wonder what could be the problem here!

Since the micro version only contain some extra apps I thought this should not be a problem, but if you can tell me why this shouldn't work, please explain? So you installed a different gapps version than the one recommended by the dev and you have problems with a Google app.

Yes, about 50Mbps,the maximum of my WLAN power [emoji12] [emoji12]What is full speed? More as 15Mbps?
Now, I delete all data from system apps and user interface and WLAN hi-speed worksYes, about 50Mbps,the maximum of my WLAN power [emoji12] [emoji12]

Anyone else have less than optimal wi-fi speeds? On 5mHz, using Ookla Speedtest app, I max at 46Mbps, yet my Nexus 6P (running 7.1.1) scores 76Mbps. Both devices 8 feet from the router and running Katkiss #32.
On 2.4mHz my speed drops to 42Mbps (big appt building), yet my 6P still get 67Mbps.
Retest today....Yes, about 50Mbps,the maximum of my WLAN power [emoji12] [emoji12]
The difference is a good 80 MiB, considering that the Pico is 112 MiB total, that is a substantial size different and obviously too much for the system partition....Since the micro version only contain some extra apps I thought this should not be a problem, but if you can tell me why this shouldn't work, please explain?
I get similar differences:I can confirm I also have less than optimal wi-fi speeds on this tab (although, it's never been "great"...) But still, with Marshmallow it's slower.
I just tested my 5Ghz connection using my TF701, and my LG G4 phone.
TF701: 24.59Mbps Down / 12.52 Up
LG G4: 102.45 Mbps Down (not a typo) / 12.52 Up
Big difference!
The system partition is more than big enough for this. The problem was that one of the partitions was formatted in EXT3 instead of EXT4.The difference is a good 80 MiB, considering that the Pico is 112 MiB total, that is a substantial size different and obviously too much for the system partition....
Try to flash that and test again: Tim_KatKernel_005-t1_TF701_MM6.0.1.zipWhen it connects I have something like 150 Mbps connection but as soon as anything starts downloading or connecting it instantly drops to 51 Mbps.
I only get 40/8 on 5 ghz and 31/8 on 2.4Try to flash that and test again: Tim_KatKernel_005-t1_TF701_MM6.0.1.zip
How and what do you test exactly ?I only get 40/8 on 5 ghz and 31/8 on 2.4
76/8 on my 5 ghz laptop.
Prior to the patch I had 56 on 5 ghz and 38 on 2.4.
Sorry, no improvement on either band.
Thanks Tim! I can report a definite improvement. My previous speedtest.net tests were around 25Mbps, now after flashing this kernel, I am getting 50Mbps consistentlyTry to flash that and test again: Tim_KatKernel_005-t1_TF701_MM6.0.1.zip
Racer, it looks like Tim added the Zen scheduler as well.Is the new Kernel only improving the network speed or are there other new specifications like new schedulers or Governors?
