• If you are experiencing issues logging in, we moved to a new and more secure software and older account passwords were not able to be migrated. We recommend trying to reset your password, then contacting us if there are issues.
  • Nearly done! Migration cleanup is mostly done. There are a small number of issues left that we continue to work on, but all the heavy lifting is done. We still would love to hear feedback over at this thread and also check out the new XDA app! Thanks and we hope you enjoy the new forums, and thanks for your support of XDA <3

Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>

/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/

Notes
  • This ROM is in a W.I.P state, don't expect 100% stability (or even smoothness, battery, etc).
  • The are probably bugs that i'm not aware of, to report them, open the Log Report app, click on Record Logs and record MobileLog/BasicLogs. After that, reproduce your bug, stop recording and send the zip to me.
  • Magisk isn't supported at this moment, if you want to have root access, flash SuperSU.
  • This DOESN'T come with root, you've been warned.
  • Download Kernel Adiutor if you want to have a better control of the kernel.

Working:
  • Mostly everything

Not Working / Bugs:
  • Screenshot resolution is wrong (720x1184)
  • Status bar icon color doesn't update until you swipe it down.
  • Screen capture through QS Tile

Features:
  • tycoo's moto_x_kernel-v1.5 with the updates from LineageOS
  • Patched for CVE-2016-5195 (Dirty COW)
  • Patched for CVE-2017-13077, CVE-2017-13078, CVE-2017-13079, CVE-2017-13080, CVE-2017-13081, CVE-2017-13082, CVE-2017-13084, CVE-2017-13086, CVE-2017-13087, CVE-2017-13088 (KRACK)

Install
As always, backup your data before installing this ROM, in case something goes wrong.
1. Wipe Dalvik / ART Cache, Data, Cache and System in recovery
2. Flash the ROM and GApps
3. Reboot
4. First boot may take 10 to 15 minutes.

Downloads
ROM: Open the "Downloads" tab and download the lastest file.
GApps: The Open GApps Project

If someone doesn't have a ghost_retail, please send me via pm the output of the commands
Code:
adb shell getprop ro.build.device
Code:
adb shell getprop ro.build.fingerprint
A "hack" was required in order to build the rom correctly, the was done by adding these two properties to our build.prop.

Currently, our init (the process that manages all processes) already does that, so I'm uncertain if it will correctly set if these two properties are already there.

For more information, see commit 7790514f3ec08b253fee1953ab34f69c23cc9cc3 at the source code.

Download was already uploaded (it's been there for about 1 day lol, I was out of home, sorry), just open the "Downloads" tab and download the lastest file.
Hi! I don't understand what you mean when you say "If someone doesn't have a ghost_retail"... My ghost is xt 1052, should I expect problems if I flash your rom? Thanks ;)

I had already understood that part, what isn't clear to me is whether my moto, model xt 1052, can be considered retail...understand?
It isn't as plain as you want to make it seem to be, and my question was addressed to the developer. I'm not stock, I've been using many different roms, during the last two years, so your stamp means nothing. But it isn't so important... Cheers
