I messed up my sound settings by installing couple of different sound mods, any way to refresh that without a fresh install?

Reflash ROM zip, no clean install shall be required.

If I were to flash this rom from SLiMM, should I start with ''fresh installation'' or ''From Stock Sony Marshmallow'' ?

Considering SLiMM were based on stock MM with some mod here and there, I am confused on which method to be used. :<

i installed everything in following order and I'm stuck in bootloop on my D6653
1--Z3_eXistenZ_Marshmallow_v5.0.0.zip
2--Z3_eXistenZ_Marshmallow_v5.6.5_UPDATE.zip
3--D6653+Patch+eXistenZ+for+5.6.5.zip
the Xperia bootlogo keeps flash even after waiting for 30-40mins . i also tried flashing following file but still no luck-- Z3-6.0.1_570_bootloop_fix
In the meantime after booting to Existenz ROM , my TWRP recovery is cleaned everytime

Inpite all this I can easily flash my old CarbonROM easily without any error .

Also tried to flash stock ROM with flashtool but it is misrecognizing my device as D6603 and gives error "The bundle does not match the connected device"

According to my experience, the update 5.6.5 has a problem
Try the one before that (5.6.0)

Just follow the instructions. You don't need a boot.img

Edit: I think there is a patch for your device somewhere posted here

About VoLTE and Wifi Calling
I confirm that VoLTE is perfectly working on this rom and Wifi Calling too (If you have) - [For Reliance Jio users also]

Auto-
1. Just flash this zip i made only and only for eXistenZ v5.6.6 - Click Me (D6653 and D6603 only)
2. Then download and open QuickShortcutMaker from playstore - App Link for easy
3. Open and open "Customization Selector" and in it click Modem Switcher. Create shortcut.
4. Open shortcut and and select modem as volte_base_operator_trials - only this one and nothing else
(If it doesn't open then reboot device and open)
5. After selecting volte_base_operator_trials, device will reboot and yeah, now you have VoLTE and Wifi Calling on it.

OR

If you wanna do it manually then-

Manual-
1. Add following in config.prop (/system/etc/customization/settings)

persist.radio.enable_nw_cw=1
persist.ro.ril.sms_sync_sending=1
ro.telephony.default_network=9
persist.radio.calls.on.ims=1
persist.ims.volte=true
persist.dbg.volte_avail_ovr=1
persist.dbg.wfc_avail_ovr=1

persist.radio.jbims=1
Persist.ims.rcs=true
persist.radio.RATE_ADAPT_ENABLE=1
persist.radio.ROTATION_ENABLE=1
persist.radio.VT_ENABLE=1
persist.radio.VT_HYBRID_ENABLE=1
persist.radio.ue_interrogate=0

2. Add following in build.prop (/system)

ro.ril.enable.amr.wideband=1

3. Edit in build.prop (/system)

Change ro.build.type=user to ro.build.type=userdebug

4. flash this zip having overlays - Click Me (D6653 and D6603 only)
5. Now follow 2-5 steps from Auto Method above.

Wifi Calling on/off - Settings>More
VoLTE on/off - Settings>More>Mobile Networks


For jio Users-
PS: VoLTE is working fine if you are having very low signal and even if your mobile data is off.

after flasing the amss_fsg_leo_volte_base_operator_trials_tar.bin I'm not getting VoLTE . I even tried amss_fsg_leo_india_tar.bin , still no luck

I have a concern, when I disable the advanced restart (advanced power menu), when restarting the phone does not show the animation (circle turning) as if it does when it is enabled, I do not like to leave that reset enabled, is there an option to fix this?
