What is their reasoning behind having to dirty flash? Since it's a mod there shouldn't really be a difference, as whatever the mod needs would be present regardless.Hi
I am considering using your rom.
I use the arise sound mod and they recommend dirty flashing my current rom according to my rom dev's dirty flashing instructions prior to installing/updating arise. I could not find this in your instructions.
In your instructions you say that if I wish to wipe data I must (Wipe Data -> Install Main ROM zip -> Reboot and do setup guide -> Install patch zip)
If I only wish to dirty flash the rom and install arise would you say the following is the best way to do this?
(Install Main ROM zip -> Install patch zip->Reboot->Install Arise->Reboot)
Considering I am not wiping data I guess the setup guide would not appear. Also would I need to reboot between installing the main rom and the patch as data has not been wiped?
You may use any custom kernel you want but it is at your own risk. The ROM only officially supports the stock kernel and there are no plans to change this. All I can say is give the custom kernel a try and see how it goes.Any chance to have custom Kernel with Quick Charge 2.0 supported ?
I believe their reason is that their mod changes system files and when one updates to a new version of the mod without dirty flashing sometimes an undesired result or behaviour may occur e.g. fcs. What is their reasoning behind having to dirty flash? Can you link me to their thread? As for a dirty flashing procedure, it's already there. The only difference between wiping and a dirty flash is that you simply don't wipe data with a dirty flash.I believe their reason is that their mod changes system files and when one updates to a new version of the mod without dirty flashing sometimes an undesired result or behaviour may occur e.g. fcs.
Also I would rather you gave me a dirty flashing procedure than trying myself.
Thanks
There is already a D6633 patch on the main download thread.waiting for d6633 patch
thanks for your ROM

Do you have a screenshot? I'm not quite sure what you mean by swipe down.I have no idea what I did but can't figure out how to change the swipe down color. It's currently white and not blue like the video. Everything else is awesome. Thanks
Go to Kryptonian Menu, then choose System UI mods, then choose Notification Mods. The setting you want to change is the QS Panel setting as shown below.I have no idea what I did but can't figure out how to change the swipe down color.
