HOW TO INSTALL
***(If you are on Jellybean or older, you will need the latest CWM recovery for the i777 to flash this ROM)***
***If you are having trouble with flashing the zip, you can try the odin version from here***
***If you are having trouble with propmodder or Superuser issues you can try flashing chainfires latest Supersu update***

Based on CM11/ 4.4.2 source.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND...
The Collective and CRT60 has put endless hours building and rebuilding raw source, to get a Highly Polished end result. We take the time to test heavily and tune before any release. Yes others dropping new source roms days after release.

I want to thank Crt60 and the rest of my fellow Collective Team for letting me help with testing and for all the time and constant improvements right up to release.


Everyone be nice.......No arguments -No trolls - No belittling ~~~~~~~~~~~~>NO BULLSH*T!


You MUST do a full and complete wipe if coming from another ROM or Previous AoCP version!!! You MUST follow Post1 and 2 or risk Bricking, Unnatural Disasters, Reversed Magnetic Poles or even Rapture! You are responsible for your device. ....So read!

1. Download All files needed to Phone
2. Flash New Recovery and reboot system..do NOT let boot and immediately two finger salute back into recovery(Do NOT click the "reboot into recovery!"). (Now it should be on new)!
3. Wipe data/factory reset
4. Wipe Dalvik
5. Clear Partition
6. Format System in mounts
7. Install AoCP 7
8. Install new KK Gapps
9. Prosper

********IMPORTANT**********
You need to be on JellyBean bootloaders before you flash AoCP7.

EVEN IF ON PRIOR AoCP6.0 YOU MUST FLASH THIS RECOVERY!!!

You MUST flash this Recovery before ROM&Gapps~~> http://d-h.st/1st

Read The Following Carefully:
Now that you flashed new Recovery... Reboot phone and as its booting (vol +/- plus power) to put back into recovery!(Do Not Let it Boot).
Then will be on new.

Now should be on New Recovery and able to flash our Awesomeness!
Then flash gapps and restart.
Let settle so Dalvic sets before pouncing.


No TiBu system restores at all from another or 4.3 AoCP.


WE RECOMMEND FULL WIPE.
MUST USE NEW GAPPS.

New 4.4 AoCP 7
Any issues let us know asap please.
Everything is working fantastic on our i777's!

Jivey Kernel Clean has been around for years and the S2 standard. Theres a new one that does same thing (Cooks) flash in CWM before any rom, rom update or kernel flash:

Flashed and backed up awaiting updates.
Couple things I'd like to see
#1 bring back center clock!!!
#2 aj, WiFi toggle issues present and also random freeze same as earlier versions of siyah 7 which were corrected around 7.5
#3 when led on touch set to off in stweaks, but enable backlights on in advanced settings, backlights should come on only when pressed as in 4.6, but in 5 they come on when screen is swiped.
Other than that, nice smooth and PURTTY!

Wow...OK. My phone not any of that. Just clock time zone. We are looking into and if us we will have fix asap. All need to make sure you did wipe correctly. I've been on this for...now day 4. Never froze. As matter fact...I love 4.2....fast...smooth. But we are looking into.
Remember.... This is a beta so thanks all for input.

Sometimes you have to reboot for the led on touch settings to stick. I'm assuming you tried this already and you're saying its still coming on with touch?

I just installed AoCP 5 on my i777.
The install directions were followed to the letter and no attempt to restore any backups was made.
Since I had wifi trouble, I refashed again using the first post instructions.
The wifi problem seems to be kernel related, I reflashed AJ's 7.6.7 and wifi started working.
I wonder if there is a general data issue since some are having cellular data problems too. I didn't test with the sim card in yet.

Looking great other than the data issue.

Just tested with the AT&T sim card. Had to edit the APN's to get mobile data working.

Sorry quick question because my phone did a funky restore with Google I never experienced before.

Is superuser or supersu implemented in this build? I have both because of the restore

Also, I do not have the launcher option in settings, where can I remove the Google search bar from home screen?

i had both su apps as well i removed the superuser app ( the one with the little green guy) not the superSU app

OK....post 2 has new kernel with WiFi fix. It works! Also... Keep Super SU app....its there for root security.
