also @Shark107:i was using ur rom and it worked great.only worry was that i was not able to get any network on my phone indoors.also outdoors the reception was very weak and was fluctuating a lot.i tried a lot of basebands with the baseband switcher in the settings and also another market app but same result.so i had to go over and install MS2Ginger 2.1 after which i m getting full reception. plz look into the matter.

which sbf, I have to install
most probably, this rom is to defy + 2.3.6 user... I am unable to install (2.3.4). Perhaps installing 2.3.6 full sbf?

@fa3g : look up ur build no. before flashing and also ur android version and then choose ur sbf build accordingly

There is really no proper tutorial for installing CM7 on a Defy+ and patching it for working battery and camera and with the possibility of re-installing original SBF.

I wish there will appear a solution after releasing CM7.2 final version.

Hi, I have an issue with my Defy (green lense) and Defy+ battery. I'm CM7.2 and I tried replace the battd with the one in this rom... After some fail (I have only 83-85% max battery under charge) I tried adding libs (libbattd.so and libmot_btgatt_jni.so), but I think that are for 2.3.6 kernel, because I'm stuck on 60% now... Anyone know how can I do to use this damn battery at 100%? Thanks!

The "regular" Defy users probably won`t flash this since they can easily download stable CM7.1 or 7.2 beta that will work with no problems. Those stuck on 2.3.6 should flash this

I have "regular" Defy with flashed 2.3.6 SBF (red lensed) and I confirm that is this ROM working fine with my phone Camera, battery etc so far no problems.

have you done any wipe or any other things not mentioned
i'm stock at 2.3.6 rom and when i flash this rom i get stock at cm7 boot animation and when i try to get in the custom recovery the blue light turns green and the phone goes to boot animation and gets stock there.
please answer i can't wait to get it work

If your phone gets stuck at boot animation, just wait 10 min (maximum) an then simply reboot it (to close it press Power button + both volume button). It should start normally. It's a known bug that can appears after a new install done with a previous wipe cache/factory reset in custom recovery.

yeah!! thanks man it works very well after the full wipe
everything is okey just some force closes sometimes but everything else is great
i have a question
does the soft-unlock method work with this version of CM7
i tried it and it didn't work

i tried that one but the phone got stock in to boot animation
i restored my backup and tried this one and it works
