After flashing this and if at all I downgrade to MM will brick the phone?
Jerome-X's modified stock ROM and other TWRP flashables don't/shouldn't affect your GPT and bootloader, so if you flash this, it won't update your GPT/bootloader. This modified stock ROM only should touch the system side of your device, leaving the underlying firmware alone. You also won't be able to install OTA updates anyway.

Depending on what stock Motorola firmware you were on before you flashed this modified stock will determine if you brick by downgrading to MM (regardless of what custom/modified stock ROM you were using). If you were on the March 2017 or June 2017 stock ROMs prior to flashing TWRP, then you may run a very high risk of bricking if you downgrade to stock MM (especially if you downgrade without flashing GPT/bootloader, then forget you have a mismatched bootloader and system, and attempt to take an OTA. The OTA will patch your bootloader firmware thinking it's a MM bootloader and brick your device).

In other words, if you had the March 2017/June 2017 stock firmware on your device and your bootloader is version B1:05/B1:06, I don't recommend downgrading to stock MM, but if you do decide to downgrade, do not accept OTA updates. Again, this is regardless of what custom/modified stock ROM as these only affect the system side.

If you're on stock MM anyway and then flash this modified stock ROM, then reverting back to MM likely should be okay (though I don't know if your fingerprint sensor will work properly with this modified stock ROM without a Nougat baseband).

March 2017 was the last OTA update that I have done.
I had no issue downgrading to MM and again upgrading to the Build just before the March 2017 update. And from that build if (build on the sense official rom) I update via OTA to March update will it damage the device? The updating bootloader and the bootloader that's already present will be the same isn't it?

In theory, the March 2017 OTA may be okay to use. However, I don't know what changes the December OTA might have made to your bootloader when the OTA was installed, or whether the OTA was blocked by your newer bootloader from flashing the patches to the bootloader. From that point of view, flashing the March OTA might work okay or you might experience trouble - which is what makes downgrading and updating via OTA risky.

I cannot stop you from updating via OTA to the March update. If you want to play it safe, flash the March 2017 fastboot ROM: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=889764386195899847

Regardless, Jerome-X's NPJS25.93-14-8 modified stock ROM should flash and run on your device, regardless if you decide to update to March 2017 or stay on December 2016 (and might be the safer option rather than flashing official OTA patches).

I can answer this one :)

Fingerprint will work half. It will look as if you cannot register more than one finger (from the second finger you will get an error) but still they are saved. You cannot delete them anymore though (only the first finger is shown in settings). You will have to factory reset in TWRP to start over with fingerprints.

I think I already know the answer to this question but just to be sure I'll ask anyway. Will this ROM work on the XT1625? Every other custom ROM on this site that works for the Moto G+ models works on the XT1625. But the developer on this thread made a point of only listing the 164X models as compatible.

I am already running Build number NPJS25.93-14-8 stock with ElementalX 1.04 kernel and TWRP recovery. So I am assuming it will run just fine. But as the old adage goes, "Better safe than sorry." ;)
