It's FXP137 based, a version months old. OP why don't you use FXP146?

Only bug I have in FXP146 are HDMI, USB tethering and VPN. No. other. bugs.

But maybe he has been working on this for weeks already, I'm not the one to judge it on this.

The ROM is great I mean its superb against other ROMs at least for first release but sometimes it can lag for unknown reasons and at games its pretty choppy.... bad piggies almost unplayable, most wanted kinda choppy, and asphalt 7 freezes here and there..... I went back to I scream ROM meanwhile but I'll be back for testing of new releases because you seem to have a promising ROM!! Thanx and good luck mate

Next release will be faster/ gonna tweak it up, for those who like AOSP look and want no bugs, I recommend GB rom, or Nyandroid AOSP-ICS !! IF !! i release it Thanks for feedback.

Yeah, that's okay, i think the difference between 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 is not much. One of major change is about expand notification. In 4.1.1 we have to use 2 fingers to expand notifications, but in 4.1.2 we just have to use one finger. That's what i know, so its not very important i think.
You can continue with 4.1.1 i will support you totally. And good luck for that

by the way is it hard to make our own kernel into version 3.x.x ?

- automatic display brightness is not working, after setting and confirming, nothing happens
- using apex launcher, less smoothness as in other ROMs
- gettings "Camera app has been closed" every time phone starts, not using it anyway

using flykernel jb v0.3, smartass2/noop. in general, all is working, good work

Interesting project, thank you for that. It's too experimental for my daily driver, but I'll install it when I have my 2nd test ray back.
First thoughts (these are not requests):
- for a project like this, I'd like to know more about WHAT I'm testing here. I assume AOSP sources, then you created /device/semc/urushi, copied all hardware libs from FXP (136?), and then you dug in until it compiled and ran?
- how did you improve the performance and free space? I guess you dropped some apps/services you don't need?
- sounds like you made a local copy of all sources and modified? Maybe you could look deeper into git (branching & merging etc.). This would allow you to include all updates from google and cm easily. (I'm not good with git, I still need to learn a lot; but a pro dev explained the basics of a really complicated release strategy to me, and the git features seem very powerful).

...and I think an earlier comment was lost in translation: "It's a shame that xyz" is just a figure of speech, nobody's actually ashamed. Like "too bad" or "bad luck for me". Formula1 drivers say that all the time (my start was very good, it's a shame it started raining later).

Good luck with your project, I hope you make it the #1 "pure gogle" ROM for our Ray

other than that i'm waiting ur update that fixes camera front bug and improving its speed and stability so that it could be my first jelly bean rom in my xperia ray

I didn't mean FRONT camera will be fixed, I meant that Camera FC's will be fixed and camera will be 8m in next release, and MMS may will be fixed, also performance tweaks will come to enhance 2d/3d performance.
