I really don't see a SINGLE reason for such type of reply...

I'm one of the most active contributor in this subforum and I know better LGs than Motos.... If I've asked this is because I'm not convinced at all of the need of those commands... So, why don't simply reply with an answer surely useful for many?

@enetec I think he sourced those commands from one of my earlier posts on how to restore to stock. They're a fairly standard set of commands on Moto devices when flashing stock FW. You probably don't need to run the whole set of commands though unless you're trying to restore to purely Stock firmware. You could probably get away with just flashing the sparse system image files and doing a factory reset from recovery afterward.

This was in fact my impression...

And if the sequence is correct when you want to return full stock eventually, I don't need any good reason to touch gpt, modems and other not well known partitions when not strictly needed...! So I asked...

Gold rules on modding is change *only* what is necessary and to know well what you are going to change and why! ;)

Yep. Sorry about that. I mistakenly thought you were another XDA noob asking in general terms about basic flashing commands.

I should have taken a deep breath before responding. Thanks for all your input and glad you've moved over from LG.

No problem pal... but.... now you could answer about my doubts! Ahahahaha.... :good::laugh:

P.S.: LG G2 has been a *great* phone with a *great* sw development.... but it's time to change and since I go with heavy modding (even on it), start from a quite "vanilla" Android is better in my opinion.... and Motorola is great in this way! ;)

SU binary must be updated

Hi. I'm using this ROM and, after SuperSU app was updated, it is requiring the update of SU binary. The SuperSU of this ROM can be updated normally or it is modified and should be not updated this way?

So... I have a Moto Z Droid xt1650-01 sheridan... Verizon told me it was just a Moto Z Droid. From what I've read, the Sheridan is supposed to be the Force model firmware (could be wrong?). Griffin should be the firmware on my device if its just a Moto Z Droid... I cannot unlock bootloader via motorola or the tool

could I use this on my device to gain root? or will I be wasting my time and possibly brick it

Is this the only 6.x Rom for the Moto Z? I just want to use Xposed so I have to use a Marshmallow Rom. Are there any other? Custom ROMs? With some neat features? Or is this the only one?

I have trouble installing this. I unlocked my Bootloader but then nothing really works. I tried RSD Lite and the "Moto All in One Tool". And manually flashing via fastboot seems not possible as there are no recovery.img, system.img and so one files in the zip?! Is that correct?

Thanks
