Running 1.9.23, the battery life is way down with this version compared to 1.9.16. No changes, no new apps, just installed new version of MIUI and battery life is about half of what it was. Anybody else have this problem?

So I'm trying to get tethering working here, and it isn't working. Can anyone help?

I'm running 1.9.2 on a T-Mobile Defy, and I've tried the following:

1. WiFi Tether for Root Users from the market. This gives me yellow bars in the app (instead of green like I remember) and I don't see the wireless network on my laptop.

2. USB Tethering. I installed the Motorola drivers but it never connects from my laptop.

Is tethering just broken on a fundamental level on this ROM?

Any reason why I would only be getting EDGE and not 3G? I'm in a 3G area...loaded this last night and when I came to work where it's a 3G area (EDGE at home) I'm only getting E on my phone instead of 3G.

Only thing I haven't done was set the 2Init or whatever as default on boot, I left the boot menu to be the default.

You probably need to get baseband switcher and switch to the baseband that is best for you. This worked for both my wife's and my defy.

Anyone can explain me how to install MIUI on my Motorola Defy?
I have Stock Android 2.2.2 with Vodafone ROM, and I am without Root and Recovery.
Thanks in advance for the response ;)

First time I use this rom... so far so good!!

Looks everything working (wifi stable, reconnects in seconds, wifi and usb tether works both natively, camera auto flash works) except only one thing: video recording auto flash does not work. It only works manually. Not a big bug for me so I can tell I am very much satisfied with this rom.

Thanks for developers!
