What you did to get that error, a logcat, etc

My best answer in this case (I had it in the past) is to try the following:

• Clear all Google play cache and data

• if it is not solved uninstall it and install the latest version

Moreover you have tierce party app store like:

• app brain

• Amazon app store

• F-Droid

• Aptoide

GAPPS keeps giving me the dreaded "The application google play store (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly try again later " .... (bs).
So I DL'd the GAPPS from the MROM site 'gapps-gb-02082013.zip' and reflashed from recovery.
So now GPS(Google Play Store) will not update to a newer version, and when I install the apk 'Google Play Store 4.8.19' (http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/08/13/download-latest-google-play-store-4-3-11-teardown/) I get the same crash again.
I've tried at least a dozen different things,,,,,,I'm weary of this whole process.

So,
What files and where exactly do I delete them, and what do I flash again to get a stable, updated GPS working in my phone.

And yet another crash, and delete the updates, then install v4.6.16, then let it update, then it crash's again,,,,and again,,,,,and again,,,,,,,

v4.8.20 = crash
v4.8.19 = crash
v4.6.16 = installs, opens a few times, check version and it sets out to auto update, crash
v4.3.11 = installs, opens a few times, crash
I'm stuck with the zip install and even then it crash's.
All apk and the zip are system files.

CWM Recovery>advanced>fix permissions ... Nope, didn't work either.

Did I flash the correct GAPPS from the MROM site?

v4.8.20 is the GPStore in the 2013.zip
I clear dalvik and clear cache, reflash 2013.zip ..... crash again ..... delete the GPS 4.8.20 update .... left with the GPStore v3.10.10 ...

Fresh install didn't help the the broken GPStore.....

So a fresh install didn't help the broken Google Play Store v4.8.20 in combination with MROM theme 'Mixer-MROM'.
Its extremely odd to me that only 1 of the 4 themes included would break the GPStore, and it would be the graphically nicest of them.
The Play Store that worked with that theme went up to v4.6.16\17, and the next up (v4.8.20) broke it.

So how the he!! can a theme, of all things, break the Play Store?

Simpke, if the theme doesn't have the assest the store expects and the store isn't programmed to contemplate that solution (it doesn't have to, since the default android has it) then it fc's

Accordibg to that post, all you need to do to resolve the issue is to swutch to system theme

i will reflash in the morning after a full charge and see if that helps thanks

You don't need to reflash, simply change the theme under settings

Mrom and Neutrino rom give the best battery life in my 2x Atrix phones. Reset phone, clear cache and flash again or check your hardware.

Sorry, my post it was misplaced, i refered to this post on the ICS-MROM, and i was talking about that one... NVM then
I've switched to CM7 MROM, everything's better now, but i've found a bug under the Default Media Player, i was driving nuts while searching my Music on the music player, installed Nozzy Music Player and the music was there indeed, then did a exhaustive search on the Default music player and i've found that the ID3v1 tags readed from the Default music player is not the Artist Tag but the ALBUM ARTIST, just an bug. non critical, but some people will find nuts like me searching it's music.

The screenshots will show what im talking about.

I'm getting strange behaviors on the rom, sometimes some configs, and turning "Plane Mode" needs a reboot to take effect, that's very annoying.
And when this happens sometimes when out of home i trend to disable WiFi but it just keeps looping to On everytime i turn it Off.. That happens after a few seconds.

Does hangouts work with this Rom? Im on Neutrino CM7 v3 right now and for some reason Hangouts doesnt appear in the market place for me citing "not compatible"..so just wondering how it works on this ROM?

What else doesnt work? Apologies for not reading all of the pages
