Custom Kernel

Beg pardon if it sounds naive but I am new to these things.
I read that this rom uses "Custom Kernel". What is that? Please can someone explain?

It's okay no need to apologize. Everyone starts somewhere. ?
The kernel is the piece of software that bridges the gap between the operating system (and installed apps) and the hardware in the device. Everything you do on your device involves the kernel. Increasing the volume while playing a video?Android doesn’t directly tell the speakers to increase output. Instead, it tells the kernel that it wants to increase the volume, and the kernel talks to the speaker to increase its output.
It sort of works as a middleman.

Also in my case the clock/weather widget don't shows weather information.
About the app with which method you push them to the SD? You have used the fix storage?

Hi,

yes, used the storage fix, phone showed up 2,5GB used out of 4GB available after the installation.
it seems not all apps which could have been moved in cm12/11 can be moved with cm13 but it is better then nothing.

update on the cast screen / inverted picture thing, i also can see now that when screen is casted, phone goes to stand by, trying to use the phone again will result in a kind of hung up.
backround image is resetted and you can do nothing with the phone, i always need to restart the phone (this is the only menu i can open up in that stage)

is there a way to log this bevhave?

when switching from airplan to normal mode the phone will not find the SIM. Also rebooting the SIM is not visible ... to regain the SIM you have to reboot without. Another problem is with sounds: when you take a photo (the shot is set as mute) all keyboard sounds, though not present, are replaced with noise which I assume is a camera shutter sound

I dont know if is related to my device or to Rom ...i'm the first that reported this

The bugs are those that come with CM13 and it being the base for these ROMs, have to put up with them for awhile.

Flashed my Wiko for the first time and it is amaizing! My phone got a new life ... much faster, better battery life and android 6!
Many thanks to the developers!

The only problem I have is that I cannot use the mobile data. Tried to set up my operator's APN both manually and automatically. It doesn't work.
Is this a common problem or am I doing something wrong?

I had the same problem with another ROM this weekend. Turns out that mobile data only works with one sim inserted in the phone.
Maybe yours will work too, as both of these ROMs are based on CM13.

I've reinstalled the rom and evrrything was working well with 2 sims untill the second or third reboot. Then the problem reappeared.
After your comment, I left only one sim and everything works well now.

Autorotation problem

It haven't worked properly at the beggining and after a few days it doesn't work at all.
It looks like there were some reports on the autorotation bug in cm13. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I'm not faced #Autorotation Bug in this ROM, may be, you have to reflash ROM with proper Steps....

if you get errors you must read the Instruction 1st . some agua rio clones are now using aicpv11 without problem .

Hi ..
I know that .I didnt wanna say that rom got bugs..rom is awesome..but every rom i have used in wiko base has this issue of not booting up sometimes...need to pull battery out annd restart but no problems in ariafin base..i just want to know if the rom will boot in ariafin base or not

it surely it will not boot in ariafan based , it's for wiko rainbow not explay .read instructions
