No idea, haven't heard of this before, but... maybe a couple of things to try...

Settings > Dock > Add Key Override Actions
or
Settings > Languages & Input > Physical Keyboard > Keyboard shortcuts helper

Hopefully one of these gets you fixed up.
unfortunately not.
At the first possibility no override action is defined and Keyboard sortcuts helper seems to be a deadlink as nothing happens.

I have a TF701 I don't use very much because it's super slow, but I have some extra time this weekend so I saw this ROM and figured I'd give it a try. So far so good, but for the life of me I can't get Titanium Backup to realize it's paid! On launch it just says "Checking license..." for about 30s then says the play store is taking too long to respond. I've had TiBu pro (from market) for years, I've never once had a problem with it so this is odd to me.

I've tried reinstalling the Pro key just to make sure it wasn't something odd there... Tablet is online, google play store works, other paid apps work.. just not TiBu pro. TiBu itself seems okay, but.. meh. Yes, this might be TiBu related but I've never had this issue before.

I found another app doing the same thing... Locus Pro. It tries to verify my license as well and stalls; so it's not TiBu.

Another odd thing; I swear 5ghz wifi was working before but it doesn't show my 5ghz router at all.

Here's what I'm using/have tried
twrp-3210_tf701t-acemod.img and twrp-3.1.0-0-tf701t_final_full_f2fs_v6.img as well as area51 "kang" 2.8.7.0 twrp
KatKiss-7.1_TF701T_030.zip
open_gapps-arm-7.1-pico-20180702.zip
UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.82-20170528234214.zip

I've wiped everything several times, tried the two twrp versions above, made sure opengapps was up to date, etc. I really don't know what I could possibly be doing wrong here. I'm going to try older twp next I guess. Nope, the 2.8.7.0 area51 "kang" twrp, same.

Argh, I even just tried the older 6.0 KatKiss, opengapps 6.0 etc of course.. Same. :(

Okay, SOB. Older gapps and it works. I don't know if this will update in the background and break itself. I'm going to try to figure out when this started happening, but I flashed 031218 gapps and it works. Gapps from 051718 were okay, trying later ones.

Thank you! I guess it was just luck of the draw that I bumped into this when I did. Ugh. But that explains why older gapps are working for me.

Stuck at bootsplash with ADB

I've got to be doing something wrong, but when I flash KatKiss 7.1 build 30, it never gets past the ASUS bootloader screen (though ADB becomes active and I can get a root shell).

The ROM never actually boots though. I've tried fastboot erasing every partition (boot, userdata, system, recovery, staging, cache), formatting /system as ext3 and back to ext4, installing direct to ext3, installing different TWRP's (I've tried 2.8.7.0-area51 and 3.2.1.0-acemod), I've tried formatting /data after installing the ROM but before installing superSU and gapps, and I've tried omitting superSU and gapps just to see if it'll boot. I'm on the US-11.4.1.29 bootloader, and I've tried fastboot flash boot boot.img from the WW-11.4.0.30. It should go without saying (but I'm going to say it anyway) that of course I erase cache/dalvik after each attempt. I also have verified that the md5 matches, and in fact adb pushed the .md5 file along with the .zip so that the installer itself could verify the file. I saw in some forum that you should format the /data partition to f2fs, but TWRP on this device doesn't support that, so I have not tried that.

Any suggestions would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, my internal speaker is broken and only outputs some quiet noise when playing, hardly to understand. So I connected a bluetooth speaker. Bonding works fine but playing doesn't output any sound. Is there any known issue about bluetooth playback? Curiously turning the bluetooth volume higher doesn't work, it always switches back to minimum.

tried that from post #2 ?
Bluetooth audio devices
For bluetooth audio devices that have "phone audio" capability you need to uncheck the box in the device's bluetooth settings.

After finally realizing that I was having huge problems with this ROM solely because I was using a broken Gapps (when Google broke paid authentication validation for a while) I've been using this ROM ever since and I'm very happy and wanted to thank the developer and encourage anyone still using a TF701 to try this ROM if they have not. Battery life is great (with a workaround below), no problem with latency (I'm using f2fs, never seriously tried ext4), no slow boots, no random reboots, no slow wakeups.. It seriously makes the TF701 very usable again; something I'd really never seen on the stock ROM or on the other ROMs I'd tried. I use the TF701 daily now as opposed to it sitting on a shelf because it was so slow.

As mentioned above, battery life is great... Maybe 5% a day idle usage. Except after a reboot, I have to kill klogd or it runs constantly taking 30% cpu, keeping the device slightly warmer (you can feel the difference once it's stopped for a while) and uses a LOT more battery when idle; maybe 10-15%/hr. It's not a huge deal, I can probably automate it with Tasker. For now I just kill it manually. It then restarts itself and it's fine!

One other quirk which isn't a huge deal.. Any bug dump causes the ROM to reboot. That includes me trying to send logs for apps that crash, to get battery stats, etc... Kind of annoying but again, not something I do daily so it's not a huge deal.

Dock Battery not completely recognized

Version 31 is great! Very stable, fast, and as others have said, it breaths new life into the 701. Thank you so much for the regular updates. I rely heavily on using the Asus dock. The keyboard works, but the battery isn't completely recognized by Android. Both the icons are in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and the correct percentages are shown. However, under Settings\Battery, only the tablet battery is shown. I've let the tablet battery completely run down and it never switches over to the dock battery...it just dies as if the dock battery doesn't exist. I've been running cyanogenmod 12.1 and both batteries are recongnized in Settings and are used. I would appreciate very much if you would take a look at this. I've been checking each of the rom versions since I first noticed it in v23. I have 3 TF701s with docks and your work has kept them relavent.

Where'd you go to high school?

Well... you made me curious, so I tried out what you outlined above. When I let my tablet battery run down, it switched over fine to the dock battery. "Technically", I did not see it, however my tablet was at 70% and dock at 99% this morning. When I got home from work, the tablet was at 88% and dock at 11%. Not exactly great, nevertheless, it seemed to work.

Not sure what to say if it's all three of your tablets though... otherwise I would have thought maybe you have a bad connection/pin or something like that. Could it be something with the version of dock you have? There's some kind of issue with the docks made before Dec 2014 or something... I don't recall exactly the date, but it was along those lines. If you search online, I bet you'll find something on it. Maybe it's that, maybe it's not.

Factory data reset does absolutely nothing. I've got 2 tf701s, one for each of my kids. The 4 year old managed to take up all 32 Gbs of space and I decided that instead of manual clean up, it would be much easier to reset the tablet, but alas, clicking that button does nothing. Tried on the other tablet just to be sure, same thing. Would be great if that could be fixed, although I see timduru has stopped active development and only applies hotfixes (which don't get me wrong, is admirable!)
