Now at home it seems to work ok... Speedtest is around 30mbit. Not outstanding but ok
It seems that transformer has not so good antenna (Now at home I'm near router.)

wi-fi issues on battery persist

Tim,

Putting the tab w v17 through a lot of tests, and most everything looks great! However, I AM still having the issue where wi-fi disconnects when I'm streaming audio (only on battery, it keeps playing fine when plugged in.) Same issue I had with Marshmallow.

I have verified that I have wi-fi set to never sleep, and I have turned off battery optimization on the audio apps (Amazon music, SiriusXM, etc.) Still, after about 7-8 mins of playing, the stream stops due to wireless dropping. I'm attaching a log file with some "interesting" exceptions/errors that *may* help.

Looking at your 7.1 changelog, it looks like you've been doing some work on networking for the next build, so maybe you're already aware of this...?

Hi,

I'm able to write to external SD card e.g. with Locus, and therefore I'm very happy. No need of using xposed with a special module like in M.
Is this standard in KatKiss? This is nowhere described in thread.

I have installed the latest (January 17th Build).
And it installed no problem. It seems to handle my dock with no problems, everything is fast and pretty zippy. (I haven't tested Bluetooth Mouse yet.).
The only problem arrises is when I format my microSD (128 GB) as a Internal SD, and not external. it formated ok, but the tablet seemed to lock up randomly, I think it was upon trying to utilize the memory. If I go to the System memu and go to menory, it shows the 2 memory slots , and the amount in internal memory free, which includes both (about 142 GB free). But any application can only see the built in memory and not the Extended microSD memory. Actually I can't find any way to access the memory at all, Even if plugged into a computer, etc.

If I format it as portable everything works fine. But I have games I cant install, (XCom, Baldars Gate, etc) basically all multi GB purchased games.

Let me know if anyone has some Ideas.

Holy cow, this is fast! My TF 701 never felt so speedy and fun to use!

I didn't factory reset the device (only wiped cache/dalvik) coming from KatKiss Marshmallow (V 32) and everything still seems to work, which is a miracle in itself.

Running some benchs now but so far this is the best ROM I ever had installed on the TF701.

Funny enough two of my oldest devices (Nexus 7 2013 and the TF701) now run the newest Android Version while my Sony XPeria 3 Compact and Galaxy S6 still only have 6.0.1 .

"unable to mount /system" . I'm using twrp2.8.7, tried mounting manually in twrp, but I can't checked the checkbox in the menue. After reboot to system I have a bootloop..
Do I have done something wrong? Wrong recovery?

twrp has some issues with formatting
simply reflash until it succeeds and/or format /system manually in twrp,then reinstall

I confirm issues with kang twrp. Flashing failed. I formatted /system and got an error but /system seems to be partially formatted. After this error I repaired /system within twrp without any errors and then successfully flashed v18.
