Been messing about since last night but just can't get apps to install. Updated recovery to the kang version at the top of this sub and the ROM installs and boots fine. Flash pico 7.1 GAPPS can then log into google OK. The problem comes when I try and install anything from the Play Store, I simply get an error 963 regardless of the app.
Am I missing something here ?

This occurred for me as well. Installed the latest build (34) and the pico gapps using Kang TWRP 2.8.7. Data/cache/internal partitions all wiped. The tablet is the 32GB version, if that makes a difference. It was stock 4.1.1 with a locked bootloader before yesterday.

edit: reformatting the data partition to f2fs. apps install properly now, and so far the tablet is working 100% as expected

Hi,

Just wanted to say thanks for keeping our tablets alive 7 years later :) I am having an issue which I cannot figure out.

My tablet will be detected by my computer, but no matter what I try it will not charge. If I connect the dock and charge from the dock, it will charge both dock and tablet.

I am unsure why this is happening because my computer will detect the tablet just fine.

Thanks in advance :)

The amps a computer puts out via a USB port is minimum, it will charge the tablet but at such a slow rate it doesn't register and the tablet doesn't show it's charging. - NP

While doing some cleaning, my wife dug out the old TF201.
A few years ago, it was in bootloop after something I did. Don't know what.
At the time there were no way to save it so I put it away. I think it was 5 years ago, maybe.
So my wife hands it to me, I decided to look up XDA to see if anything had change. Lo and behold! To my utmost surprise, OP ported 7.1 to TF201!!!!
To fix my bootloop, after trying out a number to methods what finally saved my TF201 was https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1927818.
I never expected to revive this tablet. To think after gathering dust for so long it is still usable. Battery life is still ~ ok.
It's now running this latest ROM and to have the latest security patch applied is beyond my wildest dream.
To everyone involved. Taconikky, the wheelie guys, the recovery guys, nvflash guys. Pretty sure I'm going to miss many unsung heroes behind this once mighty TF201 Prime!
Thank you!

Greetings,

I cannot seem to discover the correct key sequence for triggering a screen capture now that I have upgraded to KatKiss N 7.1. Please reply if you can help.

Thanks,

Hi,
I really have been trying to get this working for some weeks now.
Unfortunately I always get the error 70 (insufficient space) when installing gapps-pico.
I tried to reformat everything, re-install the ROM and so on.
Can anyone please tell me, what else I could try to make this running?
Best regards and thanks in advance,
Otto

Strange, did you clear dalvik and cache before and after installation?
Can it be, that your data partition is corrupted or not the right file system?
And last suggestion: do you have the really latest and preferred recovery installed?
For me there is no problem, because I mount system and delete all that stuff I do not need (Pico TTS data and apps, audio files and some apps I did never use) before installing gapps picco and after this I also delete some sync adapters I do not need/like.

Maybe this could be the problem. I could not really find which one that should be.
Could please anyone give me a suggestion? (maybe I am blind, though... :( )
