From what I've gathered this is an OTA + microG version of Ivan Meyer's builds, is that correct?

I'm asking because I want to know if I'd be encountering the bugs mentioned in his ROMs for LOS 16-18, especially considering WiFi problems and random reboots, which don't seem to be fixed yet.

installation :
clean install

everything works so far
ota updater was also added the current build is offered as a download but you do not need to install it because you are already on the rom.
I have tested it and the update is automatically installed via twrp magisk is also automatically installed if you have installed it .the whole thing with twrp-3.5.1_9-0-herolte.img.
you can install the magsik 22.x.apk with the twrp version after installing the rom.

I flashed through TWRP on previous version, 17.1 (9th of february version, skipped march's one).
Cleaned Dalvik and Cache but I get some random reboots, appearently not related to anything specific.
Should I send my log for checking?

in ur case some old google libs still installed.

u should try a fresh install. microg is just pretending google services.

Sorry for the newbie questions - been doing quite a bit of reading and have to admit that I'm a bit confused. I have modified nikgapps config file to remove gapps to no avail, do I have to wipe system ( am a bit reluctant to do so)

Nikgapps (and OpenGApps) install Google Apps components (e.g. Play Store). MicroG is an alternative to Google Apps. It aims to be compatible so apps that require Google Apps will still work, but without all the tracking. You can use MicroG, Google Apps (via Nikgapps, OpenGapps, or similar), or neither.

This rom has MicroG bundled so the choice is already made. If you'd like to make a different choice select a different rom.
