@8224Freak first of all i would like to say thank you for your support to our p600 community. i have installed your rom and its really nice i like the look and feel of it, but i am having an issue with wifi. it connects to my router but then says no internet. but i clearly have internet because everything else on the router that is using wifi and 5ghz or even the 2.4ghz band all have internet access . i have several other android devices on my network and they don't have this issue? i have tried to fix it by forgetting the network and changing the channel signal on the router but nothing seems to be working.

Thanks for P600 RR

Very grateful for your work thus far. I've been installing nightlies in hopes that my issue with Hangouts is solved. But lately, been getting FS's with the Calendar app, too. Hangouts appears OK until I respond to an SMS, then it force stops. No other issues noticed and magnetic lock works fine. Any suggestions for this?

The hangouts fc when sending through g voice seems to be a universal nougat problem. I've had it on every nougat rom I tried. You can use the official g voice app as a workaround.

Hello,

I have activated the RR OTA updater for the Luis builds (Oneplus3 / 3T, Galaxy Tabs, Galaxy Note and XIAOMI Redmi 4x). I've configured my buildscripts to publish two OTA updates a month. These are automatically displayed as OTA notification (statusbar).

If I additionally publish important updates and fixes, then these will additionally publish as OTA updates. In the download-folder these builds are described with the filename "...- ota.zip".

Important! For the RR OTA updater to work, the last current build (20171103) must be installed.

OTA Setting = Settings> Configurations> Miscellaneous> Updates

Regards
Frank

Is there a way to enable sdcard support ?

Hey toriskogen,
Sdcard is already supported! Where you got issues? TitaniumBackup?
You need to setup the following:
- Open TB,
- press menu,
- press setting,
- go to location of backup folder,
- tap on "changing filesystem",
- choose the third entry(document provider),
- in the next window choose sdcard and tap okay.

If this not work for you, install TB as system app (or any other app with the same issues). You can do it manually via filemanager(root needed) or with an app like System Apps Installer. If you need more help, let me know.

Hello....I tried to install the latest nightly and when I booted into recovery from the restart menu, I now get a red text prompt saying, could no do normal boot. Invalid Kernal Length! with the usual Note 2014 logo on the screen. I cannot boot into TWRP but I can boot into download mode. Any advice here before I have to wipe device through odin?

Hi kylo77,
Reflash latest twrp3.1.1.0 via odin but uncheck reboot option before flashing. When installed disconnect USB and reboot manually into recovery using Power and Vol-. If it boots successfully, wipe data, caches and system and reflash the rom. Maybe try an older release, I'm currently using Nov.29. release, gapps pico and magisk 14.5beta with no issues.

What Did I Miss Here?

I'm just parachuting in here from the AICP Forum, and man have I missed a lot of good ...er STUPH! I had been running RR in the past, but jumped ship to get Android N. I had no idea that there were still others supporting the smp600 tabs. I got pointed over here and started tinkering with the night lies from here. I had misread that you were supporting Beans gapps and got error messages when I flashed open gapps. But, oddly it is running very smoothly so far. I'm going to go back with a full wipe and flash with the right gapps this time.
I have so many questions - I see you support magisk as well as DA. What settings for tweaking do you suggest with this build. And what are the differences between RR and AICP aside from some menu items that I see? I really miss having a RECENTS menu on a build so I can better see what apps are running behind my back, etc.
For just a few quick days of use ((and 0 crashes) I am impressed with this build. Its seems to be much less laggy than others I've tried. NOW let's see how a full and clean flash will run on my backup tab, which may soon again be my daily driver. Still, I LIKE a good regents menu....Thanks muchly as this is MY Christmas present --a great build with, um - "balls"

Hi DeanoD!
Nice to meet you again, mate!
RR and AICP use the same kernel base so you can use the same DA settings.
I still prefer "Adaptive" governor because it gives me the best battery runtimes and no crashes/freezes/reboots(smartmax and darkness governors are also very "economical").
But to be honest, I see much less reboots with this rom compared to AICP. The rom only crashes when I try to start a part of one spezific app(C3 Toolbox>CPU-Manager) but I can live with it.
I prefer ResurrectionRemix for all my devices since many years now, as it's one of the most sophisticated ROM's ever made.
Currently it runs on all my devices, from the good old Galaxy S2, my OnePlus3 and since 2 month also on my Note 10.1/P600.
You maybe remember I was not able to flash LL bootloader but I've changed the mainboard finally to get it working. My first thing done after flashing LL bootloader and latest TWRP was to install latest RR, latest OpenGapps pico and Magisk. Have waited so long, purchased a new battery and USB connector and nothing helped and then I could get a device with display damage for 65 €.
Buying it was the best decision because it's now fully working again and is recognized by my PC/Odin. I would have saved a lot of money if I had replaced the motherboard immediately. Well, a new battery is not bad either ... main thing is it works again and finally with ResurrectionRemix!

BTW,
Beans Gapps were only needed at the very beginning of 7.0/7.1 roms because of problems with OpenGapps. But that was a long time ago and meanwhile you can use Open Gapps without problems.

Sounds like you've gone the same route as I did. With both my wife and I having p600's and iffy batteries, we managed to nage a "spare" that I alternate with between repairs. Thats the one I'm running this build on. Oddly, it has run quite well--that, right until I installed my "go to" launcher app. I think it may be my running ADW2 is causing all these crashes. How could I verify that (other than the obvious process of elimination) it is causing the faults? I wish I knew more about "reading" log files! Now, I'm going to search of a launcher that is small, smart and reliable. WE are the supporters of this product which was cruelly orphaned by Samsung. The people here who write these ROMS deserve cudoes for they great work that they do. ;-DeanoD

I've just switched over to this one too - everything installed fine with nano open gapps and also ran a debloat script to remove some of the unnecessary default apps.

Found adaptive governor to be a bit laggy, so trying smartmax which seems better - any other recommended DA setups are welcome :)

Very happy with this fully featured, highly customisable and stable rom - thanks for all the continued effort!

@DeanoD - there are 4 versions of recents menus to choose from in the RR config.

Sent from my SM-P600 using XDA Labs

Have you a solution (I'm not very expert with android)

Other question, Does your portage make Spen work?)

They will only work with spen command and for spen command you need a kernel on permissive mode, so you need to flash prime 7.4 LL after that rom.
Hello and sorry, What is prime 7,4 LL ?

Hello and sorry, What is prime 7,4 LL ?

Hey J3M-France!
Cool you finally get it working. Must be a good feeling to start the new year with latest RR running on your P600 ;)
To your questions...
Prime is a custom kernel with some minor improvements. Latest release is V8.0 and it is important that you take the right one for your bootloader, in your case choose LL_bootloader. But the stock kernel is already tweaked and you can use DeathlyAduitor to make your own settings and Prime is not updated since a long time. So it's really don't needed IMO!
There are some apps one can use as spen replacement apps. At first you need NoteBuddy and CM Spen Addon, both are free apps and available in googles playstore. For notes I commend Squid, LectureNotes and Google Keep with Sketch addon and for drawing I'm using Handraw, AutoSketch, Skeido and Sketch3D, but these a more for technical drawings apart from Handraw. But there are many more spen compatible drawing apps available.
There are also apps available which brings full spen functionallity and more to CM roms, like GMD Spen control. An AirCommand replacement app was banned from playstore and is only available as direct download. But I don't remember the link, sorry! Both are paid apps by the way.
