If my bootloader is already unlocked ... will flashing this room will result in wiping my internal data like images...etc or it will just remove the apps like doing factory reset/wipe cache and dalvik cache in twrp ? ...One more thing XD .. can i flash the rom using twrp as an img becasue twrp has a feature to a .img file. Thanks in advance.
If you flash it with the -w argument, it will wipe everything. Like a new phone (or a factory image flash). If you don't want to lose media and you're currently using another custom rom (like I did), just do a factory reset in TWRP (the one that it doesn't wipe media) then reboot to the bootloader (you can from TWRP) and then flash Fake Nexus without the -w argument. You'll get the setup wizard, but all your pics, documents, apks, and everything else will be there, except apps and settings of course.

Cheers!

You're welcome.

Keep in mind that you can only flash Fake Nexus from fastboot. Do the factory reset from TWRP and then reboot to bootloader to flash Fake Nexus.

Wipe cache and dalvik is not needed at all because the dalvik cache is in /data, which is wiped. And the factory reset of TWRP also formats /cache.

Cheers!

BTW, I'm loving this rom @ganachoco. Great job! It's fantastic.

Anyone have a fix for incorrect battery % after rooting?
You're using an old boot image to root. You can read few pages back to a link to reddit to a patch that patches your current boot.img and then flash SuperSU 2.52.

Or even better, flash the latest SuperSU 2.60 system-less root. You'll need to reflash Fake Nexus in any case. There's no need to wipe anything, just "fastboot update occam****.zip".

I've just tested the latest experimental SuperSU 2.60 and works great. It autopatches your boot.img and installs SuperSU but doesn't modify /system. Works great so far.

Cheers!

But is it worth the effort to do it knowing that you will have to redo an unknown amount of work starting from some time this week?
Android 6.0.1 should be released pretty soon I think. Android One devices already got it so Nexus devices should be next.

I have been running this rom on my N4 for only a few days but the stable release is running really well. I am not sure if it's just me, but it seems that this rom is snappier than the stock Lollipop. Everything looks and feels so fluid. :)

+1 but on the 21/11 testing rom.

I really love it. And with the new SuperSU 2.60 I can even leave /system untouched.

Cheers!

Super ROM!! I've been using it for several weeks now and it's fast and stable.

The only feature I miss is the option to automatically switch to 2G when screen is off. Has anyone been able our know how to install the APP Toggle2g.apk?

Thanks!
