Just flashed your ROM. Thx for your great work. Everything works fine on my side [emoji2] [emoji122] [emoji106]

Still one question : any plans to implement custom led notification?

Just want to know, does this great ROM contain ambient display with full mode ( pulse, shake and pocket mode) ???
no just stock ambient display with a few tweaks to make it more responsive
Can i use a Franco Kernel with this rom .?
you should be able to use any kernel
This rom is indeed great! Love the fact that all the custom settings are under the same menu.
Do you intend on adding 4 icons per row for quick toggles?
yep i plan to add that to the next build
@BeansTown106

I had an issue with the LTE toggle not working correctly. I re-downloaded, verified md5, did a full wipe and re-flash. LTE toggle still not working correctly. In the log, I did the following:

* Disabled wifi
* Set LTE toggle to off( no change)
* Set network type to 3g in android settings
* Set LTE toggle to on (LTE came back on)

If there is anything I can do to test a fix let me know, thanks!
hmm, may i ask what carrier your on? as it works good on my nexus 6 on project fi and nexus 5 on sprint.
Do I need to flash the sprint zip to get LTE working?
nope if lte isnt working jsut go into network settings/carrier settings and update prl
Xposed which can use
im not sure youll have to play around with it, i havent used xposed since 4.4
Glad to see this after using your ROM on the Verizon Galaxy S3. Nice work!
thanks and more to come!

Still one question : any plans to implement custom led notification?
i will look into it, i have the framework code in place for custom leds maybe i need to tweak the nexus 5 device tree. have you checked notification settings?
Just wondering if you're going to implement cm12 theme engine?
most likely not as we have layers. at least for now we will see whats up when M is released.

does it continuasly force close? it should force close once and then u can continue setup. this is a known bug and is fixed for next update

Hi! On top of Custom LED notifications (which was requested already), I'd love to have "Double tap anywhere in lockscreen to lock". It's being implemented in some ROMs. I think the name is self-explanatory :p
Is it possible? Thank you!

EDIT to add clarification: It's double tap anywhere in lockscreen to "turn screen off/sleep" when you are already in lockscreen (like double tap in statusbar, but anywhere in the lockscreen).

OK, UI issue went away after first boot. . Found something....media such as you tube, regardless of volume set, volume only remains at one level. . Zero to wide open, so volume level. . Ring volume adjustment is fine and works as expected. . Anyone else? Thanks

Not here, it works perfectly. Tested with Youtube from Play Store (deleted the Gapps one, for other reasons).

Why would you double tap to lock, in which case? If its double tap to lock then what do you do at lock screen? You want it to go to sleep afterwards, so If you already have double to tap to sleep, and when screen is turned on then you can have your lock screen so what is the need for this?

Hi. I think people use Doubletap-to-wake, swipe-to-wake or other solutions like proximity sensor wake (as I do, check out Gravity Screen), in order to not use the power button.

That way, you can easily see the time or if you have notifications. When you're done, you can double-tap anywhere in the lockscreen to lock/sleep again, and keep not-using the power button. The latest LG have double tap to wake, and double tap anywhere to lock/sleep. This is recently being implemented in some ROMs (Cataclysm, Euphoria, Blisspop) and I think it's in order to mimic LG's double-tap, which is really useful once you try it.

PS: It's double tap anywhere in lockscreen to "turn screen off/sleep" when you are already in lockscreen (like double tap in statusbar, but anywhere in the lockscreen). Maybe that's the confusion you were asking?

:)

Well after a long absence while rebuilding the rom from scratch i am finally pleased to announce the return of purenexus!!
Sorry for the delay in posts on xda, i will be around alot more now, as doing a complete rebase takes alot of time, been working on this for about a month now..

    a couple things to note:
*cmte is deprecated(good riddance), as substratrum from @nicholaschum and the rest of the layers guys is around the corner
*with the deprecation of cmte, now i only have to build 7 builds not 14, which means more updates as i wont have to plan a whole day around it!!
*with a clean flash of the latest purenexus and the latest purenexus gapps android pay is working out of the box 0 user intervention is needed!!
*some mods may be missing, let me know if something that was removed you would like back(other than cmte )
*alot of code cleanup happened with the rebase so things should be substantally more stable, and will also be easier to forward port to N when the time comes
