Did you manage to get it done successfully? I was planning to flash today but have limited time today to work on it if it fails so I'm wondering if flashing gapps on top of this will help.
I humbly apologize for the inconvenience that I have caused. Are you & @Scrapyard Loot serious? A talented dev gives up his spare time and voluntarily undertakes stressful work which could bring the forum down on his head if he gets it wrong, and you two comedians complain...?
Your two cents aren't worth two cents. People like you make me angry, as perhaps you can tell. If you're trying to be funny, try harder.
This build was supposed to have prebuilt Gapps like Google Calculator, Google Contacts, Google Phone, Google Keyboard, Play Store and Play Services.
But none of it is present. So this Gapps related issue is causing the crash when you dirty flash.
Good job! :good:Time to update:
- March update (r26)
- Rootless Substratum
- I will update the OP later
Well, I didn't say Chinese - I don't trust any company. Corporate greed is what worries me.Exactly my thoughts on chainfire going chinese... And magisk being open source. I don't care for Android pay, too.
Could you please leave a link for magisk instructions that I should follow?
Can you please go buy an iphone and go away? This last build is a complete piece of **** I have to reinstall the previous version, everything fails, Google play services enter in a loop of stop working, Google play doesn't work, this sucks!
The previous version works nicely purenexus_hammerhead-7.1.1-20170216-HOMEMADE
Thanks for the info. So the included calculator, phone and contact are of Google or AOSP? Also when i flash gapps for dirty flash, will it reset any settings for the included apps in the Gapps like Google Search?Yes they are needed, but backuptool is gone so you have to flash gapps with every dirty flash
Procedures for clean flash:Hello everyone! First of all thank you for this fantastic rom.
Unfortunately I tried the new build with dirtyflash and I had big problems, so I had to go back.
I tried two ways to install the new build:
1) Wipe cache +Dalvik Cache ->flash new build -> Flash kernel -> flash supersu
2) Wipe cache +Dalvik cache + system -> flash new build -> Flash gapps -> flash kernel -> flash supersu
In both cases I had continuous blocks of applications problems.
what is the correct procedure for dirty flash? or a clean flash is required (it takes me two days to reset everything: '( )?
thanks a lot to everyone!
ps: I used Mini_Dynamic_Gapps
