this rom hasnt been worked on or updated in a year; move onto something else
I don't want to move on to something else. It was a simple question. I also realize this ROM hasn't been updated in over a year. I like marshmallow and I'm gonna keep running marshmallow until I decide to move on to something else.

If you knew it hadn't been updated in over a year, that's a bit strange you post a random question about kernel permissiveness, seeking a reply, for something you easily can just flash the ROM and see for yourself. Quicker than waiting another year for your answer. Rom was awesome, flash away and change the permissions if you need to with any # of apps, gl

Instructions
Pre-requisites: unlocked bootloader, latest TWRP recovery
1. Download ROM, Gapps and put it on the phone's internal storage.
2. Boot into TWRP recovery.
3. Coming from a different ROM? Perform a factory reset using TWRP and wipe /system in Advanced wipe. If you're upgrading from Chroma ROM, proceed to dirty flash (nandroid backup before flashing is a good idea)
4. Clean Installation: Flash ROM, GApps
....Dirty Flash: Flash ROM, no need to wipe
5. Reboot and enjoy.

Last build, going to take a break from development. Enjoy the last bits that I was working on.70Well guys,
It's been quite the adventure in the Lollipop series. This was my first ROM in general and I've learned many new things, I was surprised to see the success of Chroma ROM especially on the Nexus 6. 09/27/2015 will be the final build from me in the Lollipop series. If Marshmallow gets delayed or any hotfixes needed to be made in 09/27/2015 build then I will push another update but for the most part this is the final build.
Chroma will continue with the Marshmallow series when the source code becomes available. Be sure to check out Google's announcement on September 29th on more details about Marshmallow and the new Nexus devices. The only device that is confirmed for Chroma Marshmallow is the Nexus 6 (2014). There is a good chance that the new Nexus devices in 2015 will be supported but my priority will be supporting the device that I use on a daily basis which is the Nexus 6 (I might upgrade to a Nexus 6P).
Chroma will only get better in Marshmallow and I hope to follow the same core philosophy that you all have become accustomed to in the Lollipop builds. Either way, enough ranting! Here's the last build. Similarly to the previous builds, just a maintenance build and nothing "explosive" when it comes to feature sets.
