Have you looked in any of those folders?

"Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment." - Will Rogers

What would you have me look for? I was just commenting that it was odd that this is the place to put the apk file given there are no other files in the folder. No reason to respond. It is what it is.
EDIT: Sorry for the triple post.

It may sound odd, but I tried placing fotakill.apk in its own folder in /system/priv-app and it didn't seem to work. Yet it worked for me in the root of /system/priv-app. Normally, apps in /system/priv-app each have their own folders, thus why you see folders and no apps.

In any case, copy fotakill.apk to /system/priv-app with Root Explorer, change permissions to rw-r--r-- (chmod 644), enter recovery and wipe caches, then reboot. Afterward, just be patient.

Yep. I did that and it worked for me. Just seemed weird for the reasons listed above.

Thanks!

It may be related to this app's history. fotakill.apk is not a new app, having been loaded in every version of Cyanogenmod since version 7 (Android 2.3.x). Prior to the introduction of the /system/priv-app folder, all apps lived in /system/app, and none of them needed folders. So it was no issue to simply drop a file into that directory and go. It's entirely possible that the app expects to not be nestled in a folder to work, but to verify that I would have to put Cyanogenmod on my Galaxy S4 test device. That isn't happening, not when my S4 is running Android 8.1.

Hey all. My phone went into such a deep sleep today that my alarm didn't ring. Any ideas as to why and how I can fix it? Thanks! Running Blackbird kernel with PN.

Who cares if Beans sells his N6, his decision. Yet he ain't obligated to support a device if he's not even going to use it.

Hate to say it but it was a good run. Thanks for the awesome ROM.

After almost four months of many people waiting for a new version or at least news of it, it would be kind and polite of Nate to give a definitive statement on the future of PN for the N6.

Looks like there'll only be unofficial builds from now on. This is a comment Nate left on that g+ post...

------------
Didn't sell it yet I am however selling it and it will no longer be officially supported on pure however there should be unofficial builds.
------------

Sad, but it was fun while it lasted. I've really enjoyed this ROM and massive thanks and kudos to Nate and everyone else involved.
