Chroma is a lightweight AOSP ROM focused on battery, performance and stability.
The philosophy of Chroma is to stay relatively close to Google's stock Lollipop with the additions of essential features that should have been included with stock Lollipop.

Instructions Pre-requisites:unlocked bootloader, latest TWRP recovery
1. Download ROM, Gapps and put it on the phone's internal storage.
2. Boot into TWRP recovery.
3. Coming from a different ROM? Perform a factory reset using TWRP.If you're upgrading from Chroma ROM, proceed to dirty flash (nandroid backup before flashing is a good idea)
4. Clean Installation: Flash ROM, GApps
....Dirty Flash: Flash ROM, no need to wipe
5. Reboot and enjoy.

Just FYI, this is a early bring up so I haven't added in the customizable led lights yet or ambient display stuff.
Franco kernel doesn't get added till we have an official 5.1 Franco kernel available.

That's something I'm gonna talk to zephik about once each device specific bugs are worked out and then it is updating from his upstream. Currently I am doing the bring up on each device other then the n6.

Just installed after factory reset. Durin the setup phase, it's stuck on "Checking connection...". It is connected to my wifi. Going to try to install it again.

The TWRP Link sends us to Hammerhead's TWRP build, could OP fix that please? Also could somebody give me a quick introduction as to what Layers is? Or does?

Yeah, I had that a couple times on different devices and Roms with the 5.1 gapps and same thing, just backed out of it and then redid it through play store

Hi guys, after some time not getting any updates, here's a new build. It is based off the second maintenance release that zephiK made not too long ago.
