I downloaded this nougat and some gapps, I also used TWRP.

The ROM is the one from this forum. Nougat 7.1.2 and the Gapps was Open Gapps but I couldn't remember which one. I did all the pre-downloading preparation and then as soon as I hit the reboot recovery then it just stopped.

That means you can't boot into TWRP ?

can anyone confirm these behaviors (using 3.8.7), I don't know if it's normal :
. s-pen is working great in portrait mode, but in landscape mode, it's off (down is left, up is right, etc....)
. setting 'Show icon when using stylus' doesn't work (reverts to off every time I try to enable it)

it works fine in the normal but when i tried game call brain dots yes the pen is bugged i think its only with apps that rotate the screen

so the spen is working, The game is bugged.
You can have the full support of the Samsung Stylus, ONLY if you are on a Samsung STOCK rom. Period.
No full support in any custom rom, as it is proprietary of Samsung and they are not releasing code.

that what i thought at the begin but i tried another game and it was the same than i changed the rom to the dotOS rom and the spen worked fine on it but i dint like the rom so it is from the rom not the game why won't u try it yourself

which rom/kernel version are you running ? and are you using forced landscape or auto rotate ?
I'm getting the spen issue with 3.8.7 as soon as the screen is in landscape mode.

Kernel 3.0.101-ReTRoKeRNeL-g6242745fe35
I have good pressure sensitity and GMD SPen enables most of the original spen functions, but I have the 'axis rotation issue in landscape mode' issue with the spen.
(it used to work with other roms not based on touchwiz/samsung stock rom, so I guess it's could be possible to fix the problem)

Autorotate mod, no other than the stock kernel. But it was the same on AICP with the hybrid kernel

I had some sudden restarts after phone calling with the version 3.8.7, but the version 3.8.5 with the kernel of 3.8.7 is excellent, the phone is very fast with very good battery life fast Internet nothing minus.

plz link of the kernel of 3.8.7 and is 3.8.5 is your os now on note2?

New build is better than previous. Finally my phone can connect to network in my university. Before i was getting "Emegency calls" only!

in latest version its happening that problem with landscape to me , too.
