Its the battery usage of hybrid kernel after stock. Awhile ago i noticed it drained from 98 to 68 percent. So i flashed again the Hybrid kernel i used before koffee (v10 beta 8) and Drain is still there. And yes im using latest bl and cp (UAE). I think ive done something wrong here... :silly:

Here's latest BL and cp. Flash them using odin (Backup your current ones in case you face problems). After that Clean flash ROM+gapps+koffee+magisk and check if you still face the problems

Hello,
I'm testing this ROM. Phone is better, ractive, everything seems to be well. But I have something wrong :
When I try to connect to a WiFi Spot using SIM as EAP method, it don't manage to connect and I must turn it off by removing the battery because it bacame unstable.
I tried to Fix Permissions in TWRP, but it don't change anything.
I tried another Nougat ROM, I have the same problem.
Do you have a solution .
Thank you.

dirty flash rom(boot in recovery>clear cashe and Dalvik>flash rom>clear cashe and Dalvik>reboot)
If you have magisk installed, uninstall it first

Hey all!

I was using this rom fine for a week and it was working way better than the stock rom but I messed with some kernels and it always ran weirdly with some bugs so i decided i need to reflash this rom very cleanly so i flashed the stock rom(4.4.2 as i had before) via odin then flashed twrp and later crdroid with gapps . All went fine until I got to the start screen and all of the apps started crashing all at once and I couldnt even press anything. Tried to wipe lots of times nothing changed. Since then i have flashed 3 different stock roms with different versions of twrp and wiping differently every time and im having the same problem no matter what. Dirty flashing didnt help also. Mind you after flashing every stock rom they worked perfectly being untouched unlike after flashing crdroid with the crashing apps. Also Every stock rom I tried had different bl and cp. I let it sit for a few minutes and now it seems to be in a bootloop, very interesting.

I used Opengapps(ARM 7.1 mini), twrp 3.2.1 ; 3.1.1.1 ; 3.0.2.0. and two odin versions. Also tried redownloading the rom, checking md5 and all was fine.

It has been 6 hours trying to get this working and im stumped. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Flash last stock rom and enter stock stock recovery and wipe data factory reset

I assume u are now on stock rom.
First of all, make sure u have backup of "efs" folder using twrp so that u can get rid of problem like "imei unknown", "baseband unkown", etc. Then, I suggest you to wipe dalvik, cache, system and data and now install strictly in this sequence
Firmware update ( latest bl and cp if any) > Custom rom( crDroid in your case) > Gapps > Root ( only if u want to get root by using magisk) > custom kernel (koffee or hybrid). If u don't want root using magisk or custom kernel u can skip those.
Note: Downgrading the bl is not recommended.
I hope, by the end of day, u would have a stable device ;) ;)

Hello.
I've been using this ROM for a week, coming from custom/stock 4.4.x ROMs and I have some things missing from my previous experience.
Of course, this ROM is by far better than any ancient 4.4.x, if you are willing to sacrifice the pen functionality.

My questions regarding this ROM:
(I have tried most of the ROM settings but I couldn't find any solutions or workarounds.)

1) I haven't found out how to display the number of unread messages on various apps (Gmail, Facebook, Tapatalk etc) on the home screen page.
It is usually a number at the home screen at the up and right corner of the icon of the app.

2)Is there a way to use two apps at the same time on screen ?

It is something that Note II did from the beginning (4.1.2) by long pressing "Back" button and I know that Nougat has built-in that functionality too, but I can't find how to trigger it.

3) How can I record a phone call ?
Is there a built-in function/ setting for manual or even better, auto recording ?
Do I have to install an external app from Google Play ?
Any suggestions ?

4) I used often the flip phone=mute function during a phone ringing - a smart gesture from official ROM.
Is there a way to add this functionality ?

Thanks in advance!

1) u can use lawnchair launcher and enable notification permissions, and also there some problems for this on play store

2)u can hold menu button to split the screen. Also go to crdroid settings and go to buttons and make sure that long press back button will kill app, and long press menu button for split screen

3)built in not working, use any app on play store

4)idk

1) Lawn chair launcher didn't work for me regarding notifications.

Maybe I have to put Nova launcher.

But I really think that developers could try a workaround regarding that functionality, as it is very useful I think.

2) Thanks, it seems working but I can't change the size of the two screens - it's always half split.

Also I think is slower than Samsung native support and more inconvenient - it's not exactly the same like Samsung's.

4. Use silencio app
Oh man!

What a disaster !

Have you tried that on your own ?
