I have some strange issues with latest version of ROM after installing GAPPS. Google Play Services keeps closing...

I had the same issue when I wiped system.

After reinstalling gapps, problem solved.

Wiping the system will wipe every system app (Apps in the GAPPS package)

According to the GBoard, will this link help you?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.latin&hl=en

The GBoard seemed to be installed, so I had no other solution than a clean install.

So, after the clean install of the latest ROM, I left the phone with only the ROM inside and the battery indication at 57% without any software installed for 6 hours at standby (not airplane mode just standby)

After 6 hours of standby the battery was exactly 57% - it didn't drop a single percent !

That is purely amazing !

After installing all of my apps and charging it to 96%, it dropped 6% in half an hour in standby mode.

I'm pretty sure that during night it won't drop a single percent.

Something is happening exactly after charging or battery needs more calibration.

BTW, both Google store apps for repairing and calibrating the battery are fake, don't bother installing them.

I have to experiment with batterystats.bin file and full-charge cycles.

Where can I find the release notes for the latest ROM ?

It has the same version number but obviously, it should have differences, but I didn't find any.

About having latest bootloader and modem , should I flash latest bootloader/modem with odin first then install the rom , or vice versa..?
And can someone upload the latest bootloader for N7100 because every bootloader I try to download is combined with the whole firmware and it requires membership to download on full speed etc etc..

It is recommended but not necessary to flash BL and cp first then the ROM. Consider backing up current modem and efs before flashing. Extract the rar, you'll find everything necessary

You can try clearing the data and cache of the app and try to run the app. Did u install the app before passing the safety net check or after ?
Did you select the app in magisk manager under magisk hide option. Select the app you want to pass safetynet of, then it will run successfully.

I think I found a small bug.

When I reboot during discharging, everything is fine.

If I reboot during charging, the phone looses the connection to the SIM card and asks me to reboot.

It actually sees that a new SIM card is connected and prompts me to restar, although not immediately after the first restart.

After the second restart, the connection to the SIM card works again.
