I think so, yes.
But then you will not be able to pass safety net.
You could also use a different kernel (ex Hybrid) to change kernel to permissive

I have flashed every single rom for Note 2 that has been released here in xda.
I have also flashed a lot more that never come out to open.
My phone is like the first day I bought it, even better now that I use custom roms on it.
I think I have the right to tell you this:
Its not the rom, ITS NEVER THE ROM'S FAULT.
Its our phone and in most cases, if its not a user mistake in steps flashing the rom, its hardware related.
Even if its rom's fault, you should always be able to boot in recovery, if you have successfully flashed it.
From there you can do everything that is needed.
Wipe , format, eliminate everything that may cause your phone from booting.
Then connect it to pc and transfer in it, a rom you know it was working for you, flash it and reboot your phone.
If your phone is dead as you say, first check for your battery.
If no sign of charging, try to charge your battery to an external source, before you try again putting it in your phone.
Check your cable , your charger. Prefer wall charger and not pc or laptop connected to charge.
If nothing of this helps, take your phone to a service.
Dont look for software , its hardware.

I'm using the Screenshot tile from Quick Settings in order to take a screenshot (full or partial) but I've just found out a new option in:

crDroid -> Miscellaneous -> Swipe to take screenshot

It says that you have to swipe with three fingers at the same time.

Has anyone succeeded in this ?

How ?

I succeeded doing that.
3 fingers on the screen, (not too close together), swipe down. => Screenshot. :)

Why does crDroid not work with Magisk? Gapps stays force close after flashing Magisk. Of course I did wipe cache and dalvik after flashing Magisk. With SuperSU installed am I not able to download lots of apps from Play Store, Netflix for example... With Magisk, I can add nice add-ons for productivity of the ROM... Do I have to choose for AICP that almost a year old? Or is there a way to get rid of it. I do not really like SuperSU...

What is the best way to wake up our phone ?

I'm using HOME button and POWER button which seems that both of them are starting to break.

Is there any other non destructive way ?

I do not really like SuperSU...
I was using SuperSU but not with this ROM.

It has a native root option in the "Developers" section of the Control Panel.

It has even an icon showing in status bar whenever root privileges are used by any app with root access.

Magisk was working fine for me with this ROM when I was using it. I had flashed magisk with older version of this ROM, I didn't try it with the new one. It's probably not a problem with the ROM but you can try older versions to check if it works
