Hi all. There is one problem with this ROM - when the whatsapp is running, awakening of the phone takes up to 15 seconds. Is there anyone else with such a problem?
You installed latest bootloader and modem?
Or used the latest stock version before?
no. can i install this on already installed crdroid?

Yes you can flash the latest BL and cp. Since your previous android version was 4.1.2, it's pretty obvious your BL and cp are outdated
bl = bootloader, right? is there any relations with TWRP?

2. Flash TWRP via Odin
3. Flash BL_CP_ODIN_Note2 via Odin
4. Flash crDroid (or any custom ROM) via TWRP

Only once in the device lifetime. :silly:
ROM's don't load anymore. After flashing crDroid then GApps it boots into the OS for a second then everything force closes and it goes into a bootloop.
Any suggestions?!

Trying without GApps now but I doubt it'll make a difference.
This stock ROM, you flashed before?

Yeah, there were 3 options. The one I chose was my country and said international: KSA-N7100XXUFNL1-20150518112800

My understanding of the old android devices is, that only the modem partition and the bootloader doesn't get deleted, when you switch to another rom and wipe system, dalvik, cache and data.
And there are no remains of the stock firmware or the old ROM, when you install crdroid?
I wiped everything (system, dalvik, cache, data) then flashed the ROM then GApps.
Going to try it again to see if anything changes. Also going to try and download another version of the stock ROM for the same country.
But it need to be the latest stock Android version of your device.
South Africa has 3 different versions of the stock ROM firmware for some unknown reason. They each have different versions of stock Android including the latest version.
So I do currently have the latest version.
I've also tried flashing Philz Touch and I get the same issue.
The stock ROM is running fine although it's using up a lot of battery...
Still not sure why custom ROM's are force closing apps on startup. :crying:
The country the specific firmwares should are optimized for the country specific mobile networks.
Are there 1 generic and 2 provider firmwares?
