You the man! The ROM installed silky smooth from MobileODIN with EverRoot, and SuperSU. This was the smoothest flash I've ever done - since the first Motorola Droid.

Since then not only will l always root my devices - I'll always buy an unlocked international device cuz I hate Verizon sooooo much plus I love being free of any contracts and then being forced to take a device I wouldn't want in the first place. I love the freedom of buying a device and configuring the way I want it. For example, not having it Steve blowJobs way but MY WAY!

After flashing this ROM I finally rid of myself of my original Note (my wife got that hand me down which is way to much overkill for her for years to come) and will NEVER go back to anything less than the specs on this beast.

You asked for feedback from those of us who were going to flash XXDLJ2 using MobileODIN. I love MobileODIN!

Thanks again,

TFM

Sent Direct from my Samsung Galaxy Note II

P.S. - Steve blowJobs was way, wsy wrong when he preDICKted Nobama would be a one term president. I hope he's rolling in his grave. You gotta lo love it.

Just to clarify some basic things so that new people posting here don't create confusion for others.

1. Data Wipe / Factory reset in Stock Recovery wipes your internal memory aka sdcard. The same in CWM/TWRP does not wipe it.

2. DO NOT USE THE .pit file, just flash the .tar in the PDA section no other options changed. Run Odin click on PDA select file and hit start. That's it.

3. Phones do not enter deep sleep while charging! They are always at the minimum CPU rate. For our stock kernel it's 200mhz. Not one single phone goes to deep sleep, not a Nexus not a Note not S1 2 3.

4. Most roms that come in a single tarball that are flashed in the PDA section do not wipe your device, but apparently this one does, so be prepared to lose your internal memory aka sdcard.

5. You will not receive future OTA updates, you are stuck with this firmware until you flash another one manually with Odin.
Lol, mate, you rock! 647 posts, 647 thanks...seems like every word you say is it worth to listen to it^^

Sorry for OT! ;)

caution, Marjorie the all-seeing Trash Heap is around... :D

I am just on a short visit here, don't have a Note 2 and won't have one in future
...and I´m sorry to hear that, I always enjoyed your work very much, eyebee! As you wrote, it seems like you have quitted dev completely - so my prayers are going towards the flashing god! He should help you to find your way back to the path again!

Re-partition?

Hi
Do we have to check the box "Re-partition" with "Auto-Reboot" and "F.Reset Time"?

The first link is based on 3 files (part 1, 2 and 3) with a size of 94.7MB and in the top right-hand corner, I see 976.0MB. Sorry but I don't understand how this website works...

Thanks.

Just for experience sharing.

Hello guys,

Just to share my experience. I've messed up my Note 2 last time playing around with all those ROM Cleaner, Gnote2 Toolkit and what not, till I lost the usb connection to the PC, keyboard stop responding, bluetooth not turning on and can't turn back the screen on after it goes out.

I've tried so many ways, factory reseting, full wipe, super wipe, mega wipe. Flash back to stock source from dr.ketan link with repartition using the pit file source from dr.ketan. All failed, and I am already planning to send back the unit to the service centre for help. But for the sake of trying, I did one last try using this latest version of stock rom with mega wipe and repartition with pit file that come with it. Flash using Odin 304 that also come together with it. And thank God! everything is back to normal just like coming out from the box.

SO, I like to express my gratitude here to eybee and his source for this leak coz it save me the trouble of sending this unit back to the service centre which I were not very keen of doing. Love your rocket ROM as well, been using it since my Desire HD days and Note 1( on GB and ICS). You can say that I'm one of your loyal follower. Like to gave some donation but my cards issuer block all my internet transaction. that is another issue of my life.

Cheerio....

Is it just me, or is this leak not quite as smooth as 4.1.1, I've done a clean install and it just doesn't seem as smooth, little micro stutters here and there, where the previous rom was 99% smooth. Probably being a leak things aren't quite as polished. Just curious if anyone felt the same.
