Thanks for the response! And you're right, I found the answer a few pages back, I flashed the Boeffla-Kernel and then flashed the WiFi fix and it worked fine. Still a few bugs but a great ROM. I have the N8013 also. Just little things like it won't shut down while charging. Settings crash when I go to change the Wallpaper on the lock screen, but I can d o it from the home page. Nothing major , but maybe we can get to 500 pages in this thread? ??
I agree 200%. I have no beef that there is a 'bug' in the rom, I was just asking if it had been solved, in my search of the thread I found similar inquiries but no answers. But with a 500 page thread sometimes answers get buried.
I tore apart my tablet and re-fastened the charging cable and it seems to be charging at 100%, however for those that have the very common charging issue with these devices the charging when off is a major priority and if one lets their tablet die before realizing they cannot turn off and charge they may find themselves in a pickle.
Howdy, which previous ROM was you using that your N8000 recognized your sim network?
I can only test on GT-N8013 may work also for other tablets. GT-N8013 bootloader is not down-gradable
If you try to install Gnabo_Rom_v1 without a factory reset it will break things in the rom, because your previous rom is mixing with this rom
copy attached wifi work around fix to your external sdcard along with this rom
do a factory reset from CWR and install rom,
skip all setup settings and also you can skip putting your name ( if you do not want your name showing)
reboot to recovery and install that attached GT-N8013-KK-WiFi-Fix.zip
every time you do a factory reset you have to re-install this workaround fix
Get the boeffla kernel instead. It's still on his site, under EOL kernels.
I posted a link to my Mega folder (search for it) with all the files foe this ROM (even the original 801x kernel).
Just saw this but yes, use Boeffla's kernel.
The ROM is still quite decent, especially for all the SPen stuff. Unfortunately the Android OS is so old, a lot of apps today aren't supported... Wish there were a ROM which had the best of both worlds!
