OTA Update V1.1

Download the zip here(MUST!), then flash it, then open OTA Updater. You'll see an OTA update to V1.1. Changelog in 2nd post. Enjoy!!



Hi XDA users! This_Guyse here and this is my first ROM for the Note 3, ToastRom.







Features



-Deodexed

-Debloated (Not so heavy, just some light debloating) *More info on that below

-3Minit Battery Mod included (thanks! @gharrington)

-Light theming done to match Note 3 JB UI *More info on that below

-4 Way Reboot Mod

-Disable wake on plug and unplug USB

-Disabled high volume notification when using earphones and increasing volume above 10



Features from @_alexndr's base in this ROM:

1. Base:

- Multi CSC (list of CSC to choose in Aroma Installer: ATO, AUT, BGL, BTU, CYO, DBT, ERO, ETL, EUR, ITV, MSR, NEE, NZC, ORX, PHE, PHN, ROM, SEB, SEE, SIO, TEB, TNZ, TOP, TPH, TRA, TSR, TWO, XEF, XEH, XEO, XSA, XSK)

- Removed KNOX (app, agent, store, container, etc..)

- Rooted (SuperSU 2.19 app + binary), BusyBox 1.22.1

- 2-way Call Recording support (all known CR apps should work)

- Able to write to extSdCard by all applications

- Stock kernel



2. [OPTIONAL] Init.d Support

- Init.d support without need of use custom kernel (details)



3. [OPTIONAL] CscFeature MOD (/system/csc/others.xml):

- Added shutter sound menu in Camera

- Sending/receiving MMS without data on

- Available "Folder View" option in Message app

- Added "Exit Internet" option to stock browser

- Added call button in Contacts and Logs



4. [OPTIONAL] Modified Phone app

- Disabled increasing ringtone

- Call Recording (manual control)



5. [OPTIONAL] Modified Messages app:

- Disabled SMS to MMS auto-converting

- Increased SMS/MMS recipient limit (10 -> 1000)

- Increased SMS/MMS hour limit (100 -> 1000)

- Disabled SMS / MMS log history in call logs

- Disabled SMS delivery notifications (details)



6. [OPTIONAL] Modified Camera app:

- Full functionality of the Camera app in low battery

So little mods? I don't want this ROM!

WAIT! This is just the first build. I promise you as the build number increases, the ROM will also get more advanced.




No other themes? I don't like the JB UI!

Planned features



If features are already implemented in OTA's or future updates, they will be striked out.



1. Zipalign



2. Different levels of debloating, similar to @alba19986's N900 ROMS.



3. Upload the removed apps as zip, or incorporate the removed apps as options for

user to choose which apps they want back in AROMA *see point 4



4. Include more mods and themes and kernels in AROMA plus removed apps as option to get back.



5. 4-Way reboot and other common mods, and speed+battery tweaks.

Installation

1. Put ROM zip on Internal or External SD.



2. VERY IMPORTANT!!! Backup, backup, backup!!!



3. Wipe Dalvik Cache, Cache, System and Data.



4. Flash the ROM (choose ROM Base in Aroma), then reboot and wait for 5 minutes.



5. Once the phone is on the language selection screen, let it settle for 5 minutes, then reboot.



6. Profit. Enjoy!!

App for OTA update

Flashable zip to include OTA app in ROM is included in the OP under download links. Just flash the ZIP and you can receive OTA notifications through that app when I push an OTA. Have a nice day! :)
