OK well, apparently I flashed this ROM too late in the game to be able to get the hotspot hack since the guy removed it on 6/14. Does anyone know how to get hotspot working? A hack or another app or something?

You could donate to him. He didn't specify a price, so any amount should suffice.
Or, you can decompile services.jar, edit Tethering.smali, recompile, push to device.

From what I read, he's not going to release it regardless of donations. Maybe I read it wrong. As for the other option, I wouldn't have the first clue on how to do that.

I highly doubt it, probably just bug fixes/stability improvements. This is more than likely the last official firmware upgrade this phone will get unfortunately.

I got prompted for a security update yesterday 07.15.2015.
I clicked it and waited forever while it said connecting to server. It never connected.
On a battery swap the prompt came up again.
I do not see the prompt today. But have not rebooted or battery swapped yet.

Loving the rom! Any one know of a way to kill off having to click OK about the loud volume warning? Or a work around? I listen to podcast and the volume is way to low while streaming over Bluetooth. So everytime I have to click OK.

Does anyone know if the play store apk in the stock rim has auto update disabled? Ive been on this Rom for quite a while now and the play store i have is v5.6.8 out of the box. It has not uodated to the newest v5.7.10. Im just checking to see if that apk is modded in anyway?

I believe that has to do with Google rollout. The apk isn't modded in any way. This is stock rom, just deodexed and rooted

Edit: There is a mod to disable the loud warning http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53768996
