Has anyone else had a problem with SMS? I have not been getting them and not sure if the one I send are going out. I get them if the person is on the same tower as me. I'm pretty sure this is a network issue or maybe because my wife has a S6.

Sometimes it it takes forever to send a message on stock messenger. Google messenger is fine.

that's the thing, its not any specific KB based function. that red line, and spellchecker suggestions appears no matter Which KB I use. its Google based.
most suggestions on the interwebs say to go into 'language and input" and turn off spell check. but... in the TWizafied version of the stock settings, no such option...

There is some app or something causing that because it doesn't happen for me. Check your tapatalk settings (or xda app).

Edit: I looked through tapatalk and couldn't find anything. I would look to start uninstalling anything that you've added, start with theme items or mods

yeah, that's the weird thing. it happens in All apps, with any keyboard. it also happens before I install my apps with TB.

and im all stock, on this rom. it was also happening on straight stock too.
im no noob, and im completely flummoxed. im literally posting this here out of desperation. because im either missing something really obvious, or idk what.

I honestly don't know what it could be. Try either signing out of Google, or don't sign in if you reset your phone. If it doesn't do it then, I have no idea where to find the setting, but at least you'll know where it exists.

Sorry I sent this to the wrong forum. I was trying to load the OC5 tar. So I could go to this rom. I get UI fails. I am using Odin 3.07. Now that I flashed my 4.4.4 again. It shows that I am on baseband OC5. I didnt do anything to my phone before I flashed this. What can I do. Now most of my apps are not working on my phone. I am not sure what do. Most apps dont work on my phone.

Hi all, just trying to verify this and I'll edit this post if I need correction so anyone can use this.

Steps if coming from rooted stock 4.4 [twrp v2.7.1.0]:
ODIN to OC5: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-sprint/development/romodin-t3095540
  • Download file, unzip file to extract full tar.md5 file
  • Load PC Odin (right-click on file, select "Run as Administrator")
  • Unplug your phone from the computer (if plugged in)
  • Completely power down your phone
  • Boot into download mode (Volume Down+Power+Home)
  • Plug your phone into the computer
  • Load tar.md5 file into PDA slot in Odin
  • Flash stock rom
ODIN a lollipop capable TWRP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2471564
  • Boot up phone in download mode (Volume Down, Home and Power, all at the same time).
  • Attach phone to PC with USB
  • Use PDA tab in ODIN to browse to twrp-2.8.7.0-hltespr-4.4.img.tar
  • Flash device
Now follow steps at beginning of this thread topic. Download links (working 7/8/15) at https://hybridroms.com/index.php?/topic/56-rom-n900pvpueoc5-100-stock-pre-rooted-busybox-deodexed-no-knox-6112015/

Did I miss anything? Any particularly important times to wipe cache and/or dalvik or does this whole process adequately write over everything. And feel free to PM me any edits or revisions to this and I'll clean this up to keep it tidy.
This didnt work for me. I keep having a UI failed over and over.

If you are trying to retain your data but want to upgrade and are getting UI FC's, try going into recovery (make a backup of course) and wipe system, cache, and dalvik cache. Then reboot directly to download mode and Odin the tar file (or just flash the zip in recovery since that is what this thread is about).

Sometimes there is no going around it, a full wipe may be needed (data partition as well as the previously mentioned). If you use titanium backup, you should know the routine. Not a terribly tedious procedure, and probably best way to do it anyway.

Hope this helps.
