Google Wallet's Tap and Pay wouldn't work for me when I tried twice at lunch today. Is it a fluke or have others had the issue also?
Tap and Pay is not supposed to work on Note 3 actually but I used it all the time running Sac 23's N4 port which is 4.4.4.

Tx any chance when you have the time, will you update the rom to the latest version? Im still not sure what the update is for (maybe to fix Stagefright) but there seems to be no way to remove from status bar.

Im guessing it worked on Sac's rom because it was an Note 4 rom. I never knew that it wasnt supposed to work on the Note 3 natively though

Hey I had read the whole thread, but why is it necessary to Odin the oc5 first, I am still on cm12.1 and its working good.... So my point is can I directly install this ROM(zip file) from twrp?

Im not getting any update notice on the rom.....
Its necessary for the OC5 basband and modem, you dont really need to odin the whole rom u can just odin the OC5 baseband and modem, some people were having issue of boot loop and this was found to fix that issue, and i believe there's a partition issue being different on cm12 and touchwiz. I do know once oc5 is all set up for you you can make a backup and flash the cm12 and you can go back and forth between rom's.
I believe there is no need. I have never updated mine beyond kk. Its Still on nk4 bootloader and modem and oc5 stock zip worked well for me, I also flashed the oc5 modem on it too.
But I would rather suggest you to flash a TW based rom acc to your modem and bootloader version. The best would be to wipe all on cm and then restore your TV nandroid AND in the same instant wipe data and let it boot..
Kindly note ::: wiping data after TW Nandroid restore is a must otherwise you ll have plenty of force closes.
Once it boots, set it up as usual and check if all is working well. After that go back to recovery, wipe the cache, dalvik, data and system again and flash the oc5 rooted from this thread.
You should be good to go.
My experience with lollipop hasn't been great. Despite doing everything right.. Using the oc5 modem and all I was getting terrible battery life., so I am back on my n4 port.

Every so often phone wants me to ok software disclaimer. Same thing every time
Under call it defaults to missed instead of all calls after all calls is chosen
Pressing home button will sometimes cause touchwiz to stop unexpectedly.

For the missed call default. It may be caused if you have Wanam installed. You will have to edit csc/features.xml check out this link for help.

I was surprised also. Here is what I found on Wallet's help page.
Not sure why but I get fc constantly on my email. I use exchange and it's random emails but I noticed with and without attachments. Anyone know of a fix or solution? I already cleared data and RE added the account as well. Tia!

Wallet has always worked on my Note 3 no matter what rom( stock or custom) I was running including as recent as Monday at Shop Rite and 7-11. It should work no problem on this rom as nothing is removed to stop it from working. I've been running this rom for a while and never had an issue with Tap and Pay. It sometimes would disable but I just added it to my Ignore list in my ES Task Manager and now its always enabled. It could have been the machine where you were or it could be maybe the cashier didn't press a button on their end. I've had that happen before as well.I was surprised also. Here is what I found on Wallet's help page.
