Later this week I will make a flashable hotspot mod for this rom. I can't remember if I made one already or not. Ill get it uploaded and li ked if I haven't already. Galaxy tools may no longer be supported but there are still apk's floating around. Look for GTv3.1.8. Its the latest version as far as I know. I have it.

Did you made the flashable zip? I acquire one from someone but it's not working for me. My phone gets stuck on the Sprint yellow screen.

I had to wait a little bit on the yellow screen then it updated. I have learned to watch the notification light pulsating the phone is updating.

I added some toggles through sqlite editor. I only toggle I had trouble adding was the flashlight toggle.

Under notification_panel_active_app_list I was able to add WiFiHotspot; toggle. But Flashlight; doesn't seem to work. Anyone else have this problem? I though the flashlight toggle was added to lollipop. Did Samsung take it out? lol I got the flashlight working through Xposed which work beautifully.

Are you talking about after flashing the Hotspot zip? Or after installing the ROM?

joel, try sac23 norma S6 ROM. It works good.

I'd go with Sac23 Note 5 port. Awesome ROM. Has it all built in.

for me this is the only rom that work fine without any issue "Norma Rom Note 5 V18".
Sac23 i tested but can't change csc .

I'm pretty sure he did this rom to help out a friend. If I'm not mistaken he didn't even have the device when he made this rom. I'm not sure about the continued development though

Whats up @frenchel no he just made this for other developers to have a complete solid base at the time there was only a tar file so he made it a fulluy working stock rom tx_dbs_tx currently has a N5 and N4 and is working on those so nothing else will be added to this rom.

From what I understand, this version was a beast to get working right. Most devs have moved on if they were ever on this device to begin with. Unlikely at best...in my opinion.

Just a couple 'frustrating' questions...

OK, after I had rooted, then flashed, then unroot the phone back to stock, it's getting frustrating to install this. I know how to root, though I'm not an expert, but I have a few questions like in order to install the rom must I be rooted already and if not what are other ways to flash my stock firmware? Imagine all this to get rid of Knox.
