This ROM is specially made to be a practical daily driver as it offers high speed with a good energy efficiency built as lightweight as possible. The aim is to get the system as stable and fast as possible while keeping it Simpl-e for your daily use.

VIII. Installation guide

It's reccomended to use the TWRP recovery and the Bootloader and Modem files in the download links.

N910F users:
If you have the F version you can download the latest TWRP recovery, and the latest Bootloader & Modem from the downloadlinks.

N910G users:
You need the dr.ketan kernel for first boot. once that is done you can use any kernel you want again :highfive:

Universal steps to install SimplRom:

Make sure you have flashed the latest bootloader for your device through Odin.
Reboot you smartphone to the recovery
Wipe Data
Wipe Cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Wipe System
Install zip
Reboot
Wait a long time*

Note: Your first boot after the update will take a little longer than normal so don’t be worried.
Grab a cup of coffee and let it take its time to boot.

Issues & Fixes + SimpLite

This is another version of SimplRom v5F, heavily debloated with the same mods and features.
It's for those who like their ROM very simple and good enough to get them through the day.

Extra Tips

This ROM is just another version of SimplRom v5F, which means the same extra tips apply to it

This ROM is heavily Debloated, which means many of the fancy features won't work natively, unless you flash the originals or use alternative apps from play store, in that case, SimpLite will have Rom Flashable folder which will have the most important missing files as flashables
if you flash FloatingMessage Mod or Sbeam for SimpLite, you have to flash the default toggles from toggle customization folder once
The Same Mods apply to both ROMs

Text in notifications are the same color as the notification background!
Open SimplTool and change the colors

There is a Notification Glitch when I receive a notification?
This happens because of notification background color control, you have 2 ways to fix it, either making it transparent.. or as near to transparent as possible or you can flash this fix. It will disable the mod but solve the glitch problem.

I changed the color but still doesn't appear?
few toggles require clicking on Apply to work.

Alarm didn’t go off in silent mode?
Tap the 3 dots in the alarm screen and check Sound in Silent mode

Many people complained about facing various issues after flashing the Rom with CWM
Use TWRP to avoid these issues.

Samsung Link Platform has stopped working
Freeze or delete the SamsumLinkPlatform.apk to fix it

Volume is too soft/too loud
use Synapse (or a different kernel control app with soundcontrol) to raise or lower the volume :good:

Screen pin works, but i can't unpin
Screen Pinning works fine, but if it won't unpin, go to Settings, Accessibility, all the way on the bottom look in the Services, it's probably all disabled then,
tap on one of them, disable it, enable it again, and after that the unpinning works.

then your download probably got corrupted somehow
i just formatted my phone and flashed it all again and it works flawless.
so if you want to try the stock kernel you could always download it all again :good:
