The mmc_read error could indicate hardware failure or corrupted data with the internal storage where the mmc data is stored... Or it could be a result of the missing pit file, because the pit defines the size and location of all the partitions including the mmc block - computers can't use files they can't locate.
I don't recall whether my phone has ever said high speed mode, but I'll check when I can later tonight. If that isn't a stock feature of the N4 boot loader, then that lends credence to the possibility that you somehow managed to flash a boot loader from another Samsung device... Hopefully I'm mistaken, though
Have you had a chance to check the md5sum on tor local copy of either stock tar file yet?
Oh, and what was the extension of the file you tried to flash? If it was anything other than .tar.md5 then you may have extracted it one time too many, or if it ends in .zip then you need to extract it once

It was tar md5 ending i just used pit extractor so im gona give it another go and im gona paste md5 nowgota copy it ftom email
