Great so far. No case or screenprotector here just running naked. Awesome device better than my Note 5. Yet to fully explore it as I got it yesterday and went straight to a Wedding. Takes great photos & video

Sorry, not-i stopped developing this ROM long time ago and I thought Note7 info might be relevant to his ROM users from Note 4 days.

I just came across a small problem. I Note4 910U was having some issues after booting so I did a safe mode boot to clear it up. It seemed to work, but on turning the phone off, I noticed the extended boot menu disappeared. Can you tell me where I can find that to turn it back on? Thanks!

Ok guys if you have had a Note 1, 2 or 3 you may be familiar with my Sweet ROM series. Sweet ROM was the very first Note 4 custom rom released on either platform.
Those of you that know my Sweet ROM's from Note 1 will know I generally build a full ROM. I like to keep all the Samsung apps etc in. Users can delete what they want to lighten the ROM if they wish and know what they are doing.

[*]You may want to do a backup of your data apps etc. I have made a quick guide HERE on how I backup and restore my apps in under 10 minutes after a data wipe
[*]Make sure you have backed up your imei (efs). There are a number of apps that do this. Refer Themes & Apps or Original Development XDA thread for Note 4. Keep in a safe place. (If done on previous version no need to do it again if kept in safe place)
[*]Download & place Sweet Rom V18 zip on internal or external SD Card
[*]I used twrp recovery from HERE
[*]I am COI2 5.1.1 bootloader. You may need to be on it to flash this rom. I haven’t tested from 5.0.1 bootloader so I can’t comment if that will work

- I cooked this ROM for my own personal enjoyment and it works for me. *What works for me may not work for you. I merely put together what I like and use. If you don't like it then please don't flash it or even download it as it costs me personally for file hosting.

Ok guys I thought I would write a quick guide to help with backing up and restoring you data apps and some system data. Following this guide you should be able to restore most of your setup in about 10 minutes or less after flashing a new rom or doing a factory reset / data wipe. This is what I do only. It may be of use to you or you may have a better way and thats fine.
Anyway here we go -
IMPORTANT - Do these steps before you want to wipe data or install a new rom
I always save Contacts to my Google account and not the device or sim card. The all get restored as soon as I log in
1. First you will need Titanium Backup (and pro key). Yes its a paid app but for the amount you spend you will surely save in the future with time.
2. Ensure you have enabled USB debugging in Settings / Developer Options
3. Now open Titanium Backup and accept any Superuser prompt. If, like me, it has a warning that your Android ID has changed then I just press ASK ME LATER
4. Now you will want to open up the Batch actions. Do this by pressing the tick next to the Menu heading
5. You will want to first backup your User Apps. These are the apps that you have downloaded and installed. This will backup the app and data. So RUN the "Backup all user apps" section. Now select all the apps you want backed up and press the green tick to start. This can take some time if you have a lot of apps.
6. Now you want to backup your system data. Be careful here as you only want to restore the data of some of them. Installing system apps on new firmware will lead to problems so only backup the ones I have selected in the image
These system apps I have selected will keep your Bluetooth pairings, Bookmarks from stock browser, your call log, clock settings (alarms etc), Dictionary, your sms & mms messages, your home screen settings and layout and your wifi access points.
Ok now all your data apps and some essential system data will be retained for a quick restore when you need it
When I do a data wipe I only do data wipe. I do not format sd card.If you do make sure your Titanium Backup data is stored to your external sd card and not the internal one or you will lose everything. You can look in Titanium Backup settings for where to save your backup if needed.
Ok now to restore -
1. Enable developer options in your phone settings and enable USB debugging.
2. Download Titanium Backup and pro key from Playstore. Open the app and accept superuser prompts etc. Now open Batch Actions. You want to go to "Restore" section and press RUN on restore missing apps with data. Select the apps you want to restore. I have APP+Data selected. Now press the green tick and let it restore. It will take some time.
3. Now we want to go to Batch actions and we want t press RUN on Restore all system data. If a Question pops up I press "Let me choose myself". Now select the system data you want to restore. You will get a prompt about changing the messaging app and this is fine. Select yes.
When this finishes you need to reboot your phone. All you will have to do yourself is change your prefered system settings like ringtones, screen on settings etc from the Settings app.
