YES, it is normal due to protection I put in the kernel against "KG State: Prenormal" in the DM mode. For me such protection started to be mandatory since I accidentally locked my S9+ @ Pie beta (suddenly "only official binaries are allowed" message appeared, you know what that means..)

Just ignore it - it is side effect of above protection that it shows wrongly OEM unlock state (despite it is enabled in fact - otherwise you would not be able to use my ROM)

Great to see Alexandr do the beta ROM for the Note9 as well ;) I was getting jealous of the S9 users.

I clean flashed the ROM and while setting up apps I can't seem to set my default keyboard to anything but Samsung. Gboard installs but when I try to set it as the default keyboard it just hangs as if it's trying to display a page that's not there. Reflashed 3 times, with apps restored and without, same problem. Dr.ketan's ROM had no issues, so it's probably not a beta related bug.

Make sure you installed the newest release (named *.test1.zip)

Excellent job!

Failed with the dirty flash but when I went back and checked the instructions, I didn't go to stock theme...
I am loving the factory reset clean install! It used my modified csc to finally get my wifi calling working.:D

Update: redownloading and reflashing the ROM clean didn't fix my keyboard problem, it still hangs when trying to switch it from the settings. However I did get it to change when I enabled the keyboard switch button on the navbar, so it's all good now. No issues otherwise, aside from a few graphical bugs and hiccups, but it is a beta software, after all. ;) Thanks again to the dev for an awesome ROM!

Edit: found another bug I don't remember being on other One UI ROMs. Camera double tap power button quick launch doesn't work. It fires up the screen and then it proceeds to scan my face, but no camera opens at any point. Not a big deal but probably worth mentioning anyway.

Edit 2: seems my keyboard bug was a One UI beta bug and not specific to this ROM. There's mention of it in the stock One UI thread. :)

I dirty flashed it over your Oreo ROM. Everything seems to run alright except that I can't install any apps? Oo
Don't really get what that problem is. Cleared the data/cache from playstore and now it hangs on Play support libraries install.
I also tried to install via apk, won't work, too. Hangs forever.

I also noticed that root prompts are very slow. For example, I started Titanium Backup, but no root prompt showed up. I pressed home, checked another app, and suddenly the root prompt came up. Else, root seems to work fine.

My SU is working normally now suddenly.. Don't know what it was.

But I can still not install any apps. Not via playstore, not via apk, not via titanium. It's very weird.
also mine started working
about the apps installing issue when I installed a dirty flash again everything worked
so try dirty flashing the same rom

Got it all working - but Magisk is doing weird things indeed.

Failing both checks. Then saying its not installed at all. And Magisk hide not working at all.

I did dirty flash on your 8.1 rom. Everything is working great but i have silent notifications from whatsapp, messenger and any other app from playstore. I dont know is it bug of beta version of rom or I have to do clean install. Any ideas?
