Thread has been updated, S6ETHB (One UI v2.1) DevBase v7.3 (September security patches, changelist 18803598)

Download ROM:

SM-N960F/DS:
(BL update is not necessary if you are on any Q bootloader already)

NOTE1: If your current bootloader is Pie or older - it is mandatory to update bootloader to Q - otherwise ROM will not boot. Flashing order is not very important, but it is much better to flash ROM as first and then BL - one by one - due to auto reboot command at the end of BL flashing script
NOTE2: Dirty flash over Pie BevBase is also possible without issues, but before you try - I would highly recommend you to set default (stock) theme, set default (stock) icons and temporarily disable all Magisk's modules (or just enable "Magisk Core Only Mode") !!! However, before you report any problem, please try if it occurs also after clean install to let me know if it is related to dirty update or the ROM itself.

NOTE3: If you want to perform clean install with encryption - it is highly recommended to use TWRP 3.2.3.0 (e.g. THIS build) to format /data. More info about bug with TWRP 3.3.1.x - HERE

It seems like above mentioned problem has been solved in the official TWRP 3.3.1-0 for N960F by @corsicanu (I mean THIS build). If you plan to format /data and perform clean install with DevBase & encryption - please test this recovery & post here the result to let me and other people know that we do not have to use TWRP 3.2.3.x anymore (I will remove my remommendation to use 3.2.3-x in case of encryption scenario). NOTE: I do not have N960F physically, so can't test it myself.

NOTE4: Note that if something will go wrong then you will not be able to restore standard System backup. To avoid problems with restoring backup(s) you need to perform following backups: (1) "System Image" (NOT "System" !!!), (2) "Data (excl. storage)", (3) "Boot", (4) "Baseband", (5) "Vendor Image", (6) "Carrier Configs"

Hello, alexndr, how to skip the flashing of the modem file? When I flash other ROMs, I will display two IMEIs. After flashing your ROM, only one IMEI will be displayed.I think it is related to the modem file. Other ROMs do not contain modem files. Flashing CP and BL separately through ODIN will not change dual SIM. If flashing ROM containing modem files, only one IMEI will be displayed after booting! So I want to skip the modem file and try again!

Please use (not documented yet) "skipvc" option in the ZIP file name (means exactly "skip variant check", but for security reasons it also skips CP update)

Unfortunately I need to confirm : latest version can not be installed with root/encrypt scenario. I formatted data using the advised TWRP, 3.2.3-0. All flashes well, but reboot eventually brings up a screen saying "encryption failed". When following the prompt "reset" it boots in to twrp, executes a script and then reboots again. Same continues over and over.
I've tried other recoveries too, but no luck. Same behavior. I honestly think it is not recovery related.
Could the upgrade to the latest bootloader be causing this? That's the only other change i did compared to the previous install i had.

Edit: I downgraded bootloader to version N960FXXU5DTCA and everything works perfectly now.
So, it was the bootloader upgrade after all that caused the issues.
I'm about to try this again with latest S6ETHB update. Please confirm
1) no issues at all downgrading BL?
2) Do u have now both Root & Encrypt?

I only have root now as i failed Encrypt similar to what u elaborated

My conclusion as of now right after install of the S6ETHB. Note all flashing done with twrp-3.2.3-0-crownlte_UNOFFICIAL.img. Even with down grade to BL_N960FXXU5DTCA.zip, forced encryption fails during boot. I guess there is no way to get encryption anymore.

Strange. it's awkward it works for me. Are you waiting long enough for the first boot ? I remember it took ages before the setupwizard showed (like 15').
Also, format data and don't reboot to flash the rom.

Edit:I did use the rom version released before 4th of September. ETHA I think it was.

Thanks, and no worries Mate. I guess my case is really different and I'll just have to live without encryption. Besides anyway, it's a good thing I can't use my phone for work related stuffs, it's really personal thing in the first place. Another thing is, Note 20 Ultra is in the horizon for me.

I'm on the note 20 ultra now [emoji3]. Snapdragon unrooted. Super happy. Good luck with yours too!

It fails again, whether it is replacing the (services.jar) framework or skipping the cp file update! In the end, only one IMEI number is displayed! Is there any way to enable N960F ROM on N960N?

Just want to share option.prop edited by me. It enable data usage on Quick panel. And debloat almost all Samsung bloatware and apps. Just extract on internal or external then flash the rom. You can edit what app you want debloat or not by deleting the path. Pls edit and remove chrome from debloat list if you wanna cleanflash
