Hello. I got a problem with a boot loop, like someone above, after upgrading Pie ALEXNDR ROM to the latest one (flashed BL after installing the ROM).
Anyone had that issue with the latest ROM and solved it?

If I need to wipe data, I would rather ,move back to a backup, provided I can.. (I did back Pie install of ALEXNDR ROM)
EDIT: Ouch... no access to SIM cards after I restored the backup! IMEI unknown. Anyone know how to solve this? I did not find anything online..

I never actually had issues with ALEXNDR ROMs before, this is my 4th device using them.
Latest Pie ROM has U4/S4 binary (BL designation). Since you flashed U6/S6 BL & CP you will not be able to use Pie ROM anymore

I warned about that every major BL/CP update, for example here (NOTE 5):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...devbase-v5-9-encryption-t3847061/post81937885

and here (also NOTE 5):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...devbase-v5-9-encryption-t3847061/post83041841

Note that your phone has NOT been bricked or so. Just perform clean install of the latest ROM and everything should back to normal, including IMEI and network connection

^ my understanding was I cannot flash the old CP, but the old ROM would work - indeed, I am sure I did that at least once on some model.
I cannot afford a clean install, I have data that are not transferable.

But I did restore the IMEI by reflashing the latest BL, so I have a working phone.

So, you are saying downgrade to the old backup (now on Q, want to downgrade to P Android backup) will not work??

On a separate note, did I miss something, or is Facebook app supposed to be in the current latest build of the ROM? IIRC, it wasn't before.

Many thanks for your ROMs, BTW! :)

Thread has been updated, S6FTK3 (One UI v2.5) DevBase v7.3 (December security patches, changelist 19869079)

Download ROM:

SM-N960F/DS:
(BL update is not necessary if you are on any Q bootloader already)

NOTE1: If your current bootloader is Pie or older - it is mandatory to update bootloader to Q - otherwise ROM will not boot. Flashing order is not very important, but it is much better to flash ROM as first and then BL - one by one - due to auto reboot command at the end of BL flashing script
NOTE2: If you want to perform clean install with encryption - it is highly recommended to use TWRP 3.2.3.0 (e.g. THIS build) to format /data. More info about bug with TWRP 3.3.1.x - HERE

It seems like above mentioned problem has been solved in the official TWRP 3.3.1-0 for N960F by @corsicanu (I mean THIS build). If you plan to format /data and perform clean install with DevBase & encryption - please test this recovery & post here the result to let me and other people know that we do not have to use TWRP 3.2.3.x anymore (I will remove my remommendation to use 3.2.3-x in case of encryption scenario). NOTE: I do not have N960F physically, so can't test it myself.

NOTE3: Note that if something will go wrong then you will not be able to restore standard System backup. To avoid problems with restoring backup(s) you need to perform following backups: (1) "System Image" (NOT "System" !!!), (2) "Data (excl. storage)", (3) "Boot", (4) "Baseband", (5) "Vendor Image", (6) "Carrier Configs"

How can i disable Magisk or root properly on android 10 to login in Snapchat.... i tried it with removing Magisk but its not working....can someone help me
This has to my knowledge nothing to do with the DevBase.

Go to ⚙ settings of the Magik Manager App in your phone and there you will find the option "Hide Magik Manager".

Other option is to go to the Magik thread for help.

Hope this helps
Good luck

Hi Dev Alexndr, Few weeks a go i got my Note9 the Korean version SM-N960N second hand in exchange for note8, i been flashing several room's from this forum and all are nice built, but today i give a try to this room android 10 the sm-n960n version and it works fine the root is ok, but most i was surprised about FM Radio and DMB, the FM Radio works great but the DMB mentioned it's roaming problem as i live in Newborn Kosovo with EU similar technology, perhaps we don't have DMB architecture in here.
The question is that, as i checked over internet to find information about this note9 SM-N960N duo-sim specifications, and i don't find that my kind of Note9 own FM-Radio hardware, so kindly i ask you, is it just software simulation or there is actually hidden hardware FM-Radio in my Note9 phone model or....?

Download ROM

SM-N960F/DS:

>> N960FXXS6FTK3_DevBase_v7.3.zip << (Android 10, updated Dec-08-2020, more info HERE)

SM-N960N:
>> N960NKSU3FTK1_DevBase_v7.3.zip << (Android 10, updated Dec-13-2020, more info HERE)

SM-N96xF/DS/FD/N repository:
>> Note 9 repository << [ AFH | MediaFire ]

Note:
Check MD5 sum BEFORE flash (useful TOOL), because flashing damaged or incomplete ZIP files could (soft) brick your phone! Correct MD5 sum is shown on the AndroidFileHost website while downloading.
Is this rom support dual sim on galaxy note 9 sm-n960n?

I use Bluetooth for my car with this room for music, call and movies with latest TWRP and it's working fine, perhaps there is problem with your phone if you dirty flashed the room or the restore from the clouds, checking again in clean flash and then connect your car Bluetooth, as i remembered first time connected but refused playing sounds, i deleted the connection and reconnected again and is okay, i use Bluetooth with my box-music or my NFC-Bluetooth ear-peaces and no problem.
The only problem with this room is that it doesn't have support for second or DUOS D/S sim devices.
