Are you sure you have unzipped the vendor image? Are you getting a message saying that the .zip file doesn't have the correct structure when you try to flash it in TWRP?

You need to click flash .img and flash the contents inside the zip for the vendor and boot images. The Rom zip has the correct folder structure to be installed from a .zip.

Also, use AROMA version of open GAPPS and ensure to click android 9.0 from the download link, then you can choose what to install. Note that you need to be careful with google phone app. If it isn't set as default an incoming call will crash your device.
OK. Will download and try again.
Thanks for helping...

CSF9 is the build number. I assume you're using a Note 9 with model number N960F. Just make sure you've downloaded the correct zip and that it's not corrupted. Flash the vendor if you need to.

Ah yes. I thought it is a model number. Anyway will try again.

Thanks.

Synt4x.93:

Cannot fetch synt4x93/android_device_samsung_universal9810-common from git://github.com/synt4x93/android_device_samsung_universal9810-common

This repository listed in local your local_manifests/roomservice.xml, where I can find it for building rom?

sources are private now for a reason (if you read the telegram chat you would see we are still having to manually patch things before compiling, working on incorporating it into common tree).

Installed successfully.
S-pen not working same as with Samsung stock ROMs (not a big deal but still an issue).
Galaxy wearable not available to install to pair my watch.
Netflix does not work. Displays some weird couch and TV setup.
Open camera sets the brightness to max and it stays like that. Needs rebooting to reset back to normal levels.
SD card not writable by some of the apps
Some other weird issues related to the file system.
... getting there ... thanks.

Netflix works fine for me but some people have to install it from apkmirror instead.
Open camera has a setting for Max brightness in view finder. Not a bug.

Thanks.
Tried to install it from and .apk file. Same result.
Yes. But after you quit Open Camera the brightness is still on max and can't be changed. So it is bug.
Battery usage seems to be OK. Not better than the stock ROM and probably a bit worse, but not too bad. May be would be better with another kernel.

Battery is pretty dang good on my S9+. I can only assume it's just as good or better on the N9. A couple examples below.

Netflix is fine here. Even from the playstore.

I did not realize only Samsung original firmware would allow you to use the S-pen properly. Never mind. Not a biggie, just thought it may worth mentioning since the release is unofficial and WIP.

Thanks for the comments ....

there was cutaly someone that provided a prof of concept that the s pen click could be used/recognized and mabe eventually added to aosp but the note series is just one fone. dont think its popular enough to warrent developers to actualy add more features from the s pen. and the whole framework regarding the s pen experiance will likely never find its way to aosp..

I am guessing the same framework could be used for more than just the note9. Not familiar with it but should be similar across all pen enabled devices.

Netflix works with Magisk module liboemcrypto.
Galaxy watch only works with these instructions - https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9/help/galaxy-wearable-app-rooted-phone-help-t3838503
Open Camera still causes the brightness to stay on max until rebooting but you can change the default brightness level in OC not to go to max when opened.
S-pen still an issue for me but will spend some time next week to investigate how to port it from the official ROM. Not good at Java so may not be able to do a lot.
Battery life is good.
The phone is very snappy and everything else works great.
Great ROM and effort from the Synt4x.93. Thanks a lot.

Indeed this is a great ROM; I don't miss One UI anymore.

Which Netflix worked, from apkmirror? From within my Playstore app it says Netflix is incompatible with my device so I can't install it from there.
