cannot play any videos
Hi,
this rom is working perfect except for video player. In gallery if i tap any video files i cannot play it, i can see just the first frame. Same issue with youtube app and netflix, cannot play any video. MX player work only if i select HW+ or SW, but doesn't work with HW mode. How can i do to solve this issue? Can i change the system codecs?

i know why it's not working. To make samsung wearable to work i change props to Google Pixel 4, so that when i open DRM Info apk i see that hardware is snapdragon while my hw is exynos. If i change props to Samsung SM-N960F i can play videos but samsung wearable and other samsung app won't work. Is there a workarond to get both working?

After December upgrade on my note 9 the camera on WhatsApp doesn't work if I try to take a pic. Out of WhatsApp camera works perfectly. I tried every kind o wipe and still nothing... Solutions?

My whatsapp camera has still issue with camera (NOTE 9), after edit the build.prop with the string above, continues to crash everytime i try to take a pic, (camera app works properly) please help me

How can i obtain root after flashing rom?
What i did : flash vendor csj1 , build, open gapps nano and magisk 20.1 but couldn't get adaway or titanium to work.
Am i missing something?

I installed it, but on safetynet check i got cts profile false and when i installed titanium there was no grant su popup.
Solved: tnx to Cardiff-Ian and addonsu file link.

Can confirm I have the same issue.
I also have that line in the system.prop and the camera is crashing using Whatsapp - getting the error "Can't start camera, please restart your phone".
I'll be glad to provide help\more logs if needed.

What's not working:
- Iris sensor does not work because AOSP upstream does not support that yet.
- IMS services (VoLTE, VoWiFi, etc). Samsung has their own proprietary implementation. It is not really possible to easily port that to LineageOS.
Bugs:
- S-Pen/Mouse will cause small graphical glitches during button animations sometimes.
Instructions:
- Make sure TWRP has been installed and is functional
- Download the latest build and CSF9 vendor.img (optionally gapps and magisk if needed)
- Reboot to recovery
- Wipe data and cache (required if you switch from other ROMs)
- Flash the vendor image
- Flash the latest build (then gapps and magisk if needed)
- Reboot
How to update builds?
- Do not wipe anything unless stated in the changelog
- Flash only the rom.zip and it will automatically reinstall your gapps, magisk etc
- use /system/addon.d if you would like to keep system mods after an update

Flash CSI5 vendor (it is on my mega)2I am not a dev (yet) but Reading from previous posts Unfortunately most of the Spen features are heavily dependant on other parts of Samsungs ROM, so porting it is not that easy,
I have posted once how I (kind of) compensated for the losing the spen features in this post, check it out

One thing I noticed, that if you install Samsung Notes app from the store, it keeps crashing if you call it from app drawer, but if you create a snote widget you can open up the app and use it.
I heard that editing the name of the device to Smth like htc in the build.prop will make the app work, I havent tried it yet, honestly Squid (the app) is good enough for me..
With GMD spen control + tasker + Squid, I simulated off screen memo (with some delay)
And with xposed edge (needs ed xposed) you can kind of compensate for the smart select feature with the pen feature in xposed edge..
I havent researched since then. Maybe more apps were released that make aosp life better, I wont be surprised if something that utilizes spen bluetooth capability came out.
