My samsung wave S8500 is lying around. I had installed OmniROM, forgot which version. It just hangs at Omni LOGO. Doesnt boot further.Doesnt go in to recovery mode. I would like to get back to recovery somehow. Anyone any ideas? I have a USB jig which I used on Samsung Galaxy SII previously.

Turn off the phone by removing the battery.
Press and hold the bottom left button and plug in the charging cable, the battery symbol should appear.
To enter recovery mode, press volume up and end at the same time.
To enter the download mode, press volume down, lock button and end the call.
Next, there are several options:

1. Remember what ROM you put and flash through the multiloader rc1 (start kernel)
2. Flash through the multiloader Bada 2, and then the desired ROM Android.

Let me try that.

Can anyone suggest where I can get the plastic buttons (volume rocker+camera+lock) mine are broken and fixed in phone using cellophane tape

Help please, sim not detected :(
This is great, you have a chance not to waste time on this ROM, and put 4.4.4 )))

To the point.
1. Dial on the phone keypad *# * #4636#*#*
Phone information, set your preferred network type-WCDMA only.
Click to run a PING test
2. Disable pin verification by inserting the SIM card into another phone.
