Uploading new build.

- new kernel from ACL is default now.

edit build.prop (unzip edit build.prop --> repack zip)

ro.telephony.network=4 to get CDMA running

TIP: If you use 7-Zip you can open the zip, go to /system, right click build.prop end select 'edit'. When you're done editing close and save. When you close 7-Zip it will ask you if you want to update the zip, click yes and your done! No need to unzip and repackage again!

yes only change. sorry no time for more. battery indicator is realy good now.

Hi upon using this ROM(4/16 build) on Rhod210, it works really fine, just have some few things not usual or maybe bugs,
1. When I'm trying to make a call the screen goes off and it will only wake-up by sliding out the keyboard.
2. The gallery app goes blurred if you rotate the device.
3. DSP manager force closes sometimes.

Other than that its working fine..

Can someone make a more clearer tut about this ROM installation?
I know how to install win roms and android roms on SD,but I never had to use any "ADB" tools or "fastboot".
Could anyone help me?

hello XDA masters I'm insterested on this nand develop because it looks close to full working version, so I decided install it and follow tutorials to get at least recovery working, the problem that i found is a loop rebooting if i left simcard pluged, ...so i removed it but then it starts init with ACL logo and i wait long time, it keeps the same(doesnt start)
I have a rhod400 hybrid but i use gsm on it.
So, help please!..... I like to contribute

My problem was the incorrect minipooploader, so correct it from latest version and boala! cm7 running well, gsm working and data ok.

I don`t like native WP7 but the Launcher for Android is ok. Works good on our old Rhodium CPU.

The biggest problem for Android on Rhodium is battery drain during sleep. 100 mA / hour is to much. My Motorola Defy has 4-10 mA/h in sleep mode.

Holy cow that's a big difference. See my other post, I'd say that there's definitely some component that is enabled in collapse...

I will try with disabled sdcard. Maybe the sdcard controller did not go to sleep.

Did you tried to get working a 2.6.35 or 3.xx kernel? Xperia X1 use 2.6.35 for nand maybe you can port it to Rhodium. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1487169

ACL can you compile 2.6.27 kernel to run with ICS. Ramdisk need only a few changes. (bootclass) On X1 they get ICS working with updated kernel.

Low memory killer setting kernel test

I changed this in latest ACL kernel.

init.rc

original:

write /sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfree 2048,3072,4096,6144,7168,8192

new:

write /sys/module/lowmemorykiller/parameters/minfree 1536,2048,2304,2560,2816,3072


Android start killing apps at 12Mb free ram. Old setting was 24Mb.

I change this because my rhodium has only 19Mb free after boot. Android should not try to free memory every time with this new setting.

Problem flashing

Hi everyone. I have a RHOD100 and i'm so excited to be able to flash android on it without the WM6 on it. Now the problem is that I did everything i needed to do, but i can't get any further than recovery, just because when i press power button on any of the options ("apply update from sd card" or "reboot system now" or any other option) it just shows the Recovery icon (that was in the background) a bit brighter and nothing else.

I did a Task29, and I did everything that was said in this tutorial http://code.google.com/p/rhodium-nand/wiki/NANDHOWTO but no luck.

please help.

10.To Navigate in Recovery you can use the Vol UP/DOWN(Move UP/DOWN), END Call Key(Enter/Select) or the keyboard arrows with the enter key.
