Any way to get the stock mail client to work on this amazing ROM. My only complaint. It seems to be the only app that plays nice with my work email.

TIA!
Yup. Grab it from the list of removed apps listed in the OP.

Exchange is in there, just not SecEmail_J.

Push that to system app, and you have Sammy email.

Said it failed. Downloaded from phone and laptop. Hmmm.
The download failed or the app failed?

I just downloaded the removed apps package, and the download works fine.

I don't use the Samsung email, so I am unclear if it works. I use AOSP 6.0 EmailGoogle and Exchange2Google, exclusively.

Try this...https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u...HLTESPR-NC5D-DeOdex/system/app/SecEmail_J.apk

And this....

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u...LTESPR-NC5D-DeOdex/system/app/SecExchange.apk

The rom includes Exchange, but it's worth a shot.

All of the Samsung apps must be installed for email to work.
I thought it just required the magazine and lounge apks.

Try dropping in my magazine and lounge and see if that does the trick.

Tried both with no luck. Oh well.

Did you try pushing MagazineHome.apk and Lounge.apk?

That should get you up-and-running.

All I did was flash the zip and it works perfect.

It will, but I don't like having two Exchange apks in my system/app; battery drain being one of the potential undesired outcomes.

Also, from what I can tell, there is a more robust release pending that will have a lot of extra stuff, and most everything seems to be working perfectly.

I also cannot delete files downloaded since flashing....? Files downloaded before delete just fine.

Get puNch3d!
Try this it worked for me when I had issues.

Try this go to the playstore and get Terminal Emulator. In Terminal type:
(su)
then grant supersu. Next line type:
(restorecon -Rv /data/media)
It should do the trick it worked for me. And of course type in without brackets.
