Ok thanks. One more question: will my reflash process have to involve usin odin/download mode? B/c the one caveat to my device is usb connection - it is very fickle and my last reliable usb cable just broke so having my computer recognize it is not gonna happen. Sorry if the answer to this question was implied in ur response. Just want to make sure im understanding it correctly.

Tl;dr My bootloader is already nd8 according to the liquidsmooth statistics so i should be able to pass go, collect $200, and not have to worry about any odin flashing (just flash a stock 4.4.2 AOSP rom), correct?

Yep, if your Bootloader is already ND8, no need to worry about it.

I flashed a splash screen which had the stock galaxy s3 look. However it came with its kernel and it overwrote ktoonze's, I didn't know it was going to do that. I just wanted the stock s3 splash screen. Anyways where can I find the appropriate ktoonzes kernel zip to just flash it over what I just flashed? Thanks.

The splash screen is in the kernel. If you still have the KTweaker app and it doesn't force close when changing settings, then it just flashed the same kernel with the stock splash screen. There is also a Wicked splash screen in post #3 made with ktoonsez's KT747 kernel if it did overwrite. ktoonsez's thread is in Original Development.

Got it, I used this and all is well... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800576 If you don't mind me asking is it possible to add your own custom picture like you did with your wicked splash screen? Or if anyone can provide me to the proper link I will take it from there. Thanks!

Yes it is possible, it involves converting an image of a certain size into a certain format (not one of the regular jpeg or pngs). I did not do the Wicked splash screen (credit goes to the_original_teknikl), so no I don't have any info on it, but @6th_Hokage should be able to help you out.

Try using a battery app to recalibrate. Try different kernels If you're using tweaker or any country control app and you adjusted the country settings switch to on-demand.

i love this rom its great ...i was just wondering if there was a way to theme the system menu like the lollipop roms i tried one and ealier and i realy like the white system menus if yo cant thats ok its still a great rom
