Clean flash everthing working fine and I will also add that 4G does seem stronger on this ROM which I think someone else mentioned. Used Wiziconizer to change icons and of course who doesn't like Betty Page.

I'm Lost

I've tried it all. All different kernels, all forms of wiping, everything. I cannot for the life of me get this thing to boot. It looks beautiful as does Wicked 8.0 but I haven't been able to get that one too boot either. I have the SPH-L710T and have flashed the kernel that 6th_hokage linked, however that is an ATT kernel not a SPR kernel. I went and found the SPR KT747 kernel online with the same date and that doesn't work either. bilgerryan will you support the T at all? I've done alot of testing for other devs and would be willing to test for yours. I keep getting permission issues and failed to open and kernel binary issues on logcat during boot but it never boots past the boot animation. Please help.

Hey ryan, i installed viper4android and deleted musicfx. Problem now is soundalive "force close"s.

I have soundalive frozen with no problems.

What is soundalive used for/with? Any key feature or sound im missing out on without this app?

@sean82007 I don't have the "T" model S3 but I did have similar problems. Fix for me was battery pull at stuck boot up to boot back to recovery, (volume up, power & home) wipe cache and dalvik then reboot again. Worth a shot and good luck.

I have ViPER working with Musicfx installed i just selected "Music effects" under "sound" then i chose ViPER4Android FX

@sean82007 and anyone else with the "T" model like myself I'm going to post this on here as i have posted in the Wicked X 8.0 but will make more sense here and i hope Ryan links to this in the OP ...and even though it's the AT&T kernel it will work, and as a added bonus this kernel doesn't just help boot the ND8 based custom rom but it also fixes the "Rotation" problem seen in custom roms for the T.

Wicked S5 Xperience and almost any Custom ND8 TW Rom will install with the Updated Kernel on the Sph-L710T...but if you have been rom hopping like yours truly you will have to:

1. Odin the Stock NF4
2. Odin PhilZ latest recovery
3. Boot into said recovery
4. Choose wipe to install new rom
5. Flash Wicked S5 Xperience or other ND8 TW Rom
6.. Flash updated Kernel
7. Flash Boost or Virgin APN Fix (if on Sprint skip this)
8. Reboot and profit

If you're on v. 1.0 already and want to update to v. 2.0, follow these steps:

1. Download 2.0 from Ryan's provided link and put into either Internal SD or External SD
2. Go into PhilZ recovery and find v. 2.0 then select it
3. Don't press yes or no yet let the MD5 generate
4. Check the MD5 generated and the one on the download page
5. If it matches please skip to step 7
6. If it doesn't match abort and re-download
7. Click yes
8. After the flash finishes wipe cache and dalvik cache
9. Now flash the updated Kernel again
10. Reboot and enjoy

Anyone else getting a stronger radio signal with this ROM? With other TW ROMs I'll usually get 2 bars at my house (in the desert lol). I'm getting a steady 3 - 4 bars with this ROM. Definitely an added bonus. :good:

I'm still getting a freeze when typing. Things I've done to try and fix:

1) Changed Keyboard
2) Cleared Samsung Keyboard data
3) uninstalled all programs down to basics
4) clean flashed rom again and then didn't use any backed up setting from Titanium
5) Odined and clean flashed.
6) changed to stock kernel Permissive


still no dice.. will type and all is going fine.. I get to the 3rd or 4th word and then then the letters will have to catch up.

I love the Rom. I love WICKED:laugh:, but this has been happening and makes using it impossible. My issue is that it doesn't happen with any of the AOSP roms. I've used Bliss, Spirit, Graphene.. no issues with this, but all have the dreaded GPS lock issue even after the fixes. I found myself debating which I could deal with more. The typing I do all day.. the GPS is a once every coupla a days need, as my cars all have nav, but my GFs doesn't.

Any help with the TW typing issue is much appreciated. I keep thinking its the phone, but wouldn't it happen in AOSP too?

I get the same thing on everything but Google Keyboard. I'm using Shaftmle's Navy Lollipop 123 Keyboard.

I use the HTC sense 6 keyboard give me a couple seconds and I'll upload it here

install as normal apk not system level and i have had no issues on this rom with this keyboard also you need to download the language apk as well

Thanks for this. I've had problems with the stock keyboards on TW myself. This one works pretty great.:thumbup:
